Good travel mouse

This Bluetooth mouse is small, light and works well for travel. It is not the best travel mouse that I have used but its Bluetooth capability is better for Bluetooth enabled laptops than having to use up a USB port like you do with many other travel mice. As for the mouse itself, it's only OK. It works fine but does not have the kind of features that many others do.

This mouse is very different than your average mouse and you slide your finger across it instead of the old school scrolling. A big kicker is that it is designed to work on windows 8 and if you have windows 7 you'll need to get a 4.0 Bluetooth dongle. On top of that it is a headache to finally connect. I almost don't think it's worth the headache trying to get this thing hooked up. Too many loops to go through. But, if your willing to put some time into it then it is a neat mouse and is an eye catcher. I don't enjoy windows 8 myself so I reverted back to windows 7 but that was with a price. Trying to make this mouse work is a good example of that. I would recommend this only if you have win 8 or if your willing to put time into getting a 4.0 dongle and spending time hooking it up.

The mouse has worked well, I have large hands so do not know if I would get this one again as it is pretty small. Battery has lasted and it works fine.

I like the idea of this mouse, basically is inspired by the Apple magic mouse but made for PCs.
The build quality is up there definitely, and the look and feel is very nice.
My complaints are the price ($30+ when price matched) and that the entire top half needs to move when clicked, this may give you difficulty when trying to use it on a soft surface like a bed.
I like it for the compactness and build quality, but I would have a hard time recommending it to a friend if what's he's looking for is just value.

I purchased this mouse to pair up with my HP Spectre laptop. It has a 'similar' design, but not identical to it. I went for this mouse because it was the HP brand, like my laptop, but also because it had a the similar look and feel to it as well.
I wanted to have the flexibility of not using the trackpad all the time on the computer. This mouse was easy to connect and set up, however, as a power magic mouse (Mac) user in my day to day job, this HP mouse does a decent job, but it's not perfect. Sometimes it takes a moment to recognize gestures, and sometimes it doesn't do anything at all. But for the other 95% of the time, it's a nice, tactile mouse, similar in feel to a magic mouse.
It is very aesthetically pleasing to look at, especially next to the Spectre laptop. It is also claimed to be the one of the thinnest bluetooth mouse in the world, right next to the Spectre laptop which is (currently) the thinnest laptop in the world.
(HP's claims, not mine!).

Looks good. Gets many comments. 4way scrolling is a great feature, but does not work with excel yet. Also does not work well if you use the (middle) scroll button for programs. Easy to carry around at work. Bluetooth nice. Keep breaking receiver in USB port. Sometimes mouse will have trouble connecting when computer is already in use. Have to lock/unlock computer to get mouse to connect.

I needed a mouse that would connect via bluetooth without needing a dongle so I could use it on my tablet. It works great on my tablet, although sometimes you have to click a little harder to get it to register. Does not work on my MacBook Air laptop with Windows, or my Mac Mini desktop.

Bought this mouse for when I travel with my Surface Pro 3. It connected easily but scrolling up and down on pages and documents is very jump!y. I ended up buying the Microsoft designer mouse for cheaper and have been a lot happier

I bought this to replace my surface arc mouse, since that mouse only scrolls up and down and the HP here does all directions .
Nice mouse, a little jumpy buy does the job. Sleek for portability .

It works great and easy to use but I have a five month old and when I try to use the mouse on my leg as a table it moves a little slow but as a mouse used like it is supposed it works great

This mouse is quite nice looking and wonderfully thin for travelling. However, it does not work well with Windows 7 as it will not stay connected; it is designed for WIndows 8 and works well with 8.1--no problem on connection after sleep or reboot. For someone looking for a lightweight, very portable Bluetooth mouse that has the proper Windows computer, I would recommend it; otherwise, not.

Good looking mouse, however sometimes the connection drops from the computer. Also, this device may fall into the 'too thin' category.

So far so good. I bought the mouse a little over a month ago. Works well on most surfaces. Low power consumption and battery has held up well as I use this mouse for a couple hours every day. I did notice the button was beginning to stick a little a week ago, but that problem seems to have corrected itself after I wiped it down and used compressed air to clean it. I've had no problems with connectivity. There are no settings to configure and there is no back button, which is one thing I miss. The four way scrolling is great for use on laptops when zoomed in on a PDF or webpages span wider than the screen view. It also comes in handy when working with Photoshop and you need to zoom in and scroll around a photo to make adjustments. I'd buy this mouse again.

I really like this Bluetooth mouse. It is 4.0 Bluetooth. It extremely light, ergonomic and portable . It can be used by a lefty or right handed. The response seems instant. It looks really good with my Spectre 4102 dx.

I was looking for a small travel mouse for my business laptop. I can't stand using the traditional laptop trackpad. The HP Wireless Bluetooth mouse is light, sleek and responsive. Works similar to the Apple Magic Mouse for less cost (on sale at Bestbuy) Very happy with my purchase!

This is a really cool mouse with a lot of features and the touch top is nice but its not very tall. Its uber thin, so unless you have tiny hands it may not be the mouse for you. I returned mine and got a bigger, more normal mouse. The Bluetooth connectivity is awesome, its the only way to go!
