Replacement mouse and keyboard working fine

My original wireless mouse (6 years old) left clicker began making unreliable connections that I put up with too long. I could have replaced just the mouse requiring a second USB interface. By replacing both I was able to stay with just the one new interface for both. Turns out after using the new keyboard I realized the keys on my old one were not as 'snappy'. I probably am hard on the keys/clicker and am trying to go a little easier in my new ones. Good tech support from our local Best Buy store in making this selection. 'Heavy Hitter'

Good Keyboard - Side buttons needed?

I got this as Best Buy was selling it cheaper than HP (and I am on their employee purchase program) . It is a solid keyboard for generic daily use. The quick key buttons added to both sides are interesting. You will have to decide if they are right for you. They control volume and other functions like cut, copy and paste.

Excellent keyboard and mouse. Works great with our HP laptop. Very easy to attach. Nothing to install. Computer automatically recognized the equipment. Well worth the price.

    Works well, but poor range.

Picked this up to replace an older keyboard/mouse set that I had. Overall, I'm pleased with it, and I haven't had any issues with the mouse when operating at a reasonable distance (say, 4-5 feet) but the keyboard has fairly poor range. Any further than 2 feet or so and it begins to drop out, which was an issue for me as my computer sits under my desk and the USB ports sit low in the back, so it would work, but constantly drop keystrokes, and sometimes just stop communicating altogether. I did have a USB extension on hand that I just ran up to where the monitor is, which solved the problem, but this isn't typical of wireless keyboards in my experience. If you're going to be placing your keyboard very close to your machine (or have a USB extension available) this is a cheap, well made keyboard that feels fairly nice to use. But if you think you're going to need to use it at any sort of distance, you might want to look elsewhere.

I had bought a new Logitech keyboard, but could not get used to it. I finally figured out that the small difference in key size, and the arrangement, were probably the cause of my trouble, so decided to try another keyboard. This is a good keyboard, and I like the small keys on the edges that allow me to control the speaker volume, etc. However, I thought the mouse was a little small and harder to control, so have gone back to my old trusty Microsoft mouse.

This keyboard and mouse work great. They are easy to use and are so much better than trying to use the mouse pad and cramped keyboard of a laptop.

HP wireless keyboard does the job

Some keys on my old HP wireless keyboard, which I have had for years, were sticking and others not registering their characters properly.I blame it on wear and tear, and, the probability I could have taken better care of it myself. I purchased this new HP wireless keyboard as a replacement to work with my HP desktop and that it works with Windows 10, according to the packaging. I am very satisfied as it fits my needs. Easy to set up and quickly got it working. I have had the item for several weeks now and no current or foreseeable problems.

Not an outstanding keyboard by any means, but for $20 with the mouse, it's completely fine for a computer that only gets used occasionally. The keyboard has the standard keys in a sort of conventional layout, but it lacked the separation between the edit/arrow keys and the numeric keypad. I didn't think this would be a big deal, but it became annoying. They keys aren't as 'snappy' as one might like, but this is preference. Again, for $20 I shouldn't complain.

I bought this set mostly do for the single buttons copy and paste keys on the keyboards left margin. Really handy if your work requires those actions. The first set I bought almost 3 years ago had a few keys just get stuck over time with alot of use. This is not a high end keyboard build, but nonetheless a good set. AAA batteries last 2 to 3 months depending on use.
