Since it is compact there is no flat surface for paper to be scanned rather a feed type scanning system. So you won’t be able to scan thick materials like passport or part of a book. I bought this for my kids school work.

This is the most convenient printer

However, it was a bit difficult to set up because it comes with just the power cord, I had to get creative to connect it to my device's USB port.

I had to get the furst o e reaces a d the other new one did work but like twice. This new ome was way easler ti set up and run.. i recommend!
