It was a little hard to get it out of the packaging, but that's to be expected since they want it to be safe in shipment! Once I was able to get it out and hooked up, I had it installed and printing within minutes. The printing quality is good, though I wouldn't get this printer if you're avid on printing your photos. I bought this because I need to print for my home business and for school. I've only had it for a few days, but the only drawback I can see thus far is that it spits paper at you! It's not that terrible, it actually made me laugh - but it may be slightly annoying when trying to print a document with many pages. This printer is a great value for the price ($49.99 with $10 off when you buy ink cartridges with it), and I would definately recommend it to someone who just needs a printer for documents.

This is a nice little printer for what it is. It is lightweight, has only two ink cartridges, is easy to set up and use. If you only need a basic printer without all the bells and whistles, this one does the job just fine.

I was looking for a cheap printer to do every day printing (forms). This printer does very well and was super easy to install. The only flaw I think it has is when the paper is done printing, it flies out of the printer and lands on the floor every time....the holder is not long enough to have the printed paper stay on the printer. Other then that, it works very well, prints well . I am very happy with it!

Great Printer! I was looking for a printer for my dorm room. I wanted something simple and small. This printer hasfit the bill. It is quick, cheap, and reliable. I've had it for about 4 months with no problems.

When I first used this printer I would get a message each time telling me about some kind of ink to use for best results. There was a box which I checked that said "Don't show this message again" but that didn't work. So I got online with HP and after much effort, including uninstalling some programs that had just been installed with this new printer, I was able to eliminate the problem. Then after a couple of weeks of use I began to get a message saying I was low on ink. Again I checked the box that said not to show the message anymore but that didn't do any good. So I bought a new ink cartridge and installed it and I kept getting the same message about being low on ink. So it was back to the online help chat and after a 30 minute ordeal I was able to eliminate the problem. The steps I had to perform included starting and stopping the print spooler five times and refreshing the print folder three times. I asked the person helping if this was going to happen again when the new cartridge was out of ink and he seemed to think it would and suggested I save a print of the chat instructions which I did. I think this is completely unacceptable. When the printer works it's fine(although the paper tray is pretty strange) but I certainly don't think I should have problems such as these.

Went to the local BestBuy to pick up an inexpensive printer, Box has instructions in several languages so I didn't notice the small print saying I needed to purchase a USB cable separately. How much does it cost to put a cable in the box? They could have added another two bucks to the price, now I'm headed back to the store! AAAARGH!

The local store didn't have it in stock and orderedit for me. It came almost a week earlier than expected. Installation was fairly easy. I have a laptop, so I disconnect the printer between uses. It only takes a minute or so for eveything to reset for printing. Images are clear and defined, color mix is good, and I love being able to print copies of drawings or quilt patterns I work on.

The Printer works great and is easy to use when having to print many papers for college. The price is very reasonable and haven't had any problems installing the printer to my laptop. Although this printer doesn't have many options it does its job fast and efficently. I would defently recommend this printer to a college student or someone that just wants to print articles. This printer really isn't the best if you want photo quality pictures to print. You get what you pay for and overall a Great Printer for the money.
