This was everything I ever needed in a laptop. The screen size, resolution, touch screen, memory, etc., etc. I waited for this model to go on sale and saved quite a bit over the original list price.

I needed a full size keyboard, a large screen, speed and a lot of memory for work and play. This laptop more than fit my wish list. Plus, it looks great, easy to operate and is lightweight.

This laptop is quick, efficient and I especially like the fact that it has a touch screen. I use it for my sewing software designs primarily, it is easy to use and the speed is amazing.

Only been using for a week, but so far I'm pleased. It's a little on the heavy side, but I like the larger screen size. It's fast, easy to use, and, so far, does everything I want it to do.

That says it all. Glad I went with the latest processor, excellent memory, fast WiFi and beautiful screen. This laptop is lightning fast. It’s surprisingly light compared to the monster Toshiba 17 in laptop I upgraded from.

I purchased for a number of reasons. It's portable and the battery has a long life and charges quickly. It's 17 in screen helps when I'm doing my on Demand workouts. I can load my music from CD's on it to transfer to an external hard drive or stream music while I'm working. I'm glad I purchased and would recommend it to anyone looking for a laptop.

This laptop was purchased to replace an all in one desktop. Since I do not plan to make it portable, I was not concerned about the rather heavy weight. I like the larger screen.

This HP-Envy computer is exactly what I needed. With it's i7 processor it is very fast and has everything on it that I wanted. I highly recommend it and the price was right at Best Buy.

Love the touch screen and the speed. Sure makes a difference in when downloading pictures and videos. Also like the metal case - it doesn't get hot like my old one.

This is definitely the best laptop I have ever purchased. It has a nice size screen and its a bit heavy but I would definitely recommend it

What I absolutely love about this laptop is the very thing that aided in my decision to purchase it. Its very hard to find any computer that still has a CD ROM and all of the features of the new computers. This one has it all. The touch screen comes in handy when I don't feel like using the touch pad for scrolling or selecting certain items on the screen. I can finally use my business software on my new computer. I've had two computers before this one that didn't allow me to install the business software because it is on CD ROM. This is a great purchase. Especially all of the space on the hard drive you get. Wow!

Chose this laptop due to several of its features. Large Screen / Quick SSD for Fast Boot / Better than average amount of RAM / Full Keyboard with Numeric Pad. I also like the Bio-Metric Login ability for quick but user unique security. The Touch Screen does not get used (usually by accident) much. So far a great unit, and meets all my requirements.

Love this computer. The price of as amazing. It was a gift for my wife and she is very happy with the size of the screen and fingerprint security.

So far I really love this laptop. My only problem was trying to find the correct stylus pen for it. Bestbuy sold me a bamboo ink which is not compatible. Hp sold me on the hp pen which also is not compatible. This laptop only uses passive stylus pens not active. Non battery operated pens. Passives are much cheaper anyways. So for anyone who has jumped through hoops getting the wrong info multiple times I hope this helps.

I have been looking at several laptops for months and came across this one. I'm glad I waited because other 17.3 laptops were being sold with 8th generation I7 processors, less memory and smaller or larger old style HDDs. The speed and especially the startup time is the fastest I've ever experienced. I bought the last one that wasn't a display model and very glad I did. I would recommend this laptop if you can find it. I am also pleased that it has an internal Optical drive.

Great laptop, MX250 doesn't really help in this case since it doesn't have a 4k display unless you want to do light video editing or gaming. Optane helps a lot with the booting time and application opening time. I do have some complaints, bezels are somewhat big, trackpad is very small making it difficult to use, and it overheats a lot and there's no way to turn off Intel Turboboost to reduce the heat, even when I checked the BIOS and other Windows settings. I have a Dell laptop with the same Intel Turboboost 3.0 software and it was easy to turnoff in the BIOS, HP's BIOS doesn't look that great, doesn't have many features and settings to change, while Dell's looks great. Still a great laptop, my complaints are very minimal.

I needed a new laptop as mine was 12 years old. I really am pleased with the ease of use of this laptop and the large screen. The keyboard is very easy to use.

I am a SPED elementary teacher and I needed a new laptop for distance teaching my students. I also have a medical issue with my eyesight so got a larger screen. This laptop has been very reliable during my 10 weeks of teaching from home. I am not tech savvy but this laptop was easy to adapt to and allowed me to expand that knowledge to enhance my lessons for my students. This is my second HP Envy touch screen. My first one had a smaller screen but served me well for 6 years. Overall, I would recommend this laptop to anyone!

I like the ease of set up, getting all my favorites moved from previous computer. I like the speed with which it performs tasks.
