Well as the tittle says, so far so good. I have been using this product for a month and a change and has work great. It is fast, reliable, it is very silent even on loads. The sound is good and at least for some moderate gaming works good. If the is any complain it is that is a little heavy but it is 17 inches display which looks really good. If you plan to use it for heavy loads such as video or photo editing look for one with 8 cores (this one has 4), for everything else this laptop is great.

This is a very well-built machine. It is quick, sturdy, and problem free. The larger screen may be too big for some, but it is much easier to see--not as much strain on the eyes. As others indicate, the battery life is not necessarily that long (somewhere around 3 hours), but that is no problem for me since I rarely would use the computer somewhere that there is not an outlet handy. I have always had good luck with HP laptops, and this one is no different. I expect it to last many years.

Easy to use. Has plenty of power to handle multiple tasks without a hitch. Plenty of storage. Great sound quality. Touch screen option is convenient.

I bought this laptop for the graphics card. My Toshiba I had purchased 2 years ago worked great until the graphics card couldn't support my Silhouette program. So I started doing some research and found that this laptop would do what I needed. I love the design of this laptop. When I opened it to use it, the computer raises slightly to help with airflow, which in turn, allows for the computer to stay cool. The touch screen wasn't a feature I wanted but I have used it some and it works great. Bluetooth feature is awesome. The sound is so much better than my Toshiba and the picture quality is great. I highly recommend this laptop. I love mine and am sure others will too.

I like that it’s fast and has a lot of memory but it’s not a 2 in 1 like I thought it was and it’s very very heavy.. I’m in college and have to carry it all day and sometimes I leave it at home just to get a break from carrying it

Great laptop with a 17 inch screen. Love the touch screen - didn't think that I would. It is a bit heavy due to being a 17 inch. But I wanted that size. Took me a while to find a laptop backpack to fit it! 2 years old already! Battery is showing it's age - doesn't last long when unplugged.

I needed a new fast laptop to edit my pictures in Photoshop, this one fits the profile. I love the large screen and illuminated keyboard

I applied dedicated research for a laptop computer for myself based on what I want to do with it, meaning how I want to use it. I have had it over a month now using it daily in all of my usual ways and it is performing perfectly so far. It's fast, the picture is perfect, the sound is perfect and the speed is perfect. I love this machine, it works for me.

I needed a new computer to replace my aging HP computer that was having performance and other issues I purchased from Best Buy approximately 6 years ago. The HP Envy gave me an upgrade in performance and I love the larger screen and 10 Key on the computer since I do a lot of work with multiple spreadsheets and programs for both personal and business

I researched many laptops via the web, store visits and friend recommendations before I decided on the powerhouse! Best Buy had a great finance option and the best price to get just what I needed.I love the flexibility of using a keyboard or touchscreen. The speed and space are amazing on this Envy. I highly recommend it.

Originally, I was going to get a similar HP with less performance because it was cheaper but last time I did that, it didn't last very long. Because this is an I7 with 16gbs of memory, everything works so fast and smoothly. I was wary of Windows 10, but once you set it up to your liking, it is better than 8.1. I didn't want Cortana because of privacy issues but you can turn it off and if you don't ask it anything, you'll never know it's there. There's a lot of great features with the screen itself but I connect it with an hdmi cable to my tv. I opened a photo and couldn't believe how enhanced it was. The system itself is very easy to navigate thru. If I click on a video, there's no waiting...it's up so quickly. I waited at least a month to review and everything is still as fast and easy as it was when I got it. I love knowing the geek squad will help me if I ever need it (hopefully not) but they're definitely better than square trade, imo. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to worry about little things not working the way you expected or parts that look like they're about to fall off. It's a sturdy machine that can do A LOT!!!

Has great sound, picture, speed, memory & keyboard

Very good laptop. One that still has a dvd drive in it. Very fast and great screen. Touch screen is really nice.

The screen size of 17.3 is terrific. I've had this computer for 1 month and I'm very impressed with the speed, graphics and memory. It doesn't get too hot and runs smoothly. Great computer for the money!

This is still a work in progress for me, but absolutely love this machine so far. Quick, easy to use. Backlit key board is very helpful. Touch screen is a great feature, graphics are awesome. A very smooth interface with everything attempted. No problems what-so-ever thus far and I do not expect any in the future.

I was a little skeptical about getting an HP after things I had heard previously, but I am impressed with this machine. I have multiple tabs open, working with pics, videos alot. It runs smoothly and quickly. Great performance for the price. The touchscreen will sometimes be sticky and keep the mouse in a corner, but that will take care of itself after a reboot. Only other problems I have had were due to Windows updates....sigh...

Although I haven't had much time to really dive into the computer, it had proven to be fast, reliable, and easy to use! The only reason I gave it a 4 star vs 5 is because of the built in battery. I'm curious to see how long the life of the battery will last seeing that it doesn't have the conventional ejectable battery that laptops are known to have.

This laptop offers a great look and feel. Has plenty of space and speed for all my needs!

The large 17.3 inch screen is great---plus the touchscreen is an added bonus for getting an up close look at something on the screen. It was easy to set up and synced well with my wireless connection. Turns on quickly and has a good clear screen. No problems so far.

I was looking for a new laptop since my laptop was about 8-10 years old and showing signs of aging and most programs were no longer supported. My sister also needed a new computer so I purchased two of these laptops. I love the large monitor size, touch screen and the touch of the keyboard (especially the back lighting). Due to time constraints, I had the Geek Squad load Kapersky and Office 2016 and I did the rest. The only semi-struggle I had was transferring all of my data from old Outlook to new Outlook, but after a couple of attempts it all flowed in (calendar, contacts, notes, etc.) I was able to transfer all of my data myself and load the apps and programs I needed. Connecting up my printers and other peripherals was very easy. So far, a great machine Windows 10 took some getting used to, but now that I've been working on this computer for a couple of weeks, it's a non-issue.
