Bought this laptop just over two years ago, and I love every second I am on it. I have done some upgrading to it, mainly just replacing the original hard drive with an SSD for a little bit of a speed boost, but other than that it is great. It has no problem running heavy and intensive programs which I use for school, including graphics processing and statistical processing, and it is just overall a beautiful machine. I still get compliments on it to this day about how good it looks, and how big the screen is which is something I prefer over a small screen. I would definitely buy this laptop again no questions asked.

This laptop is one of the last with a built in disc drive, which is what I was looking for. Pros: huge vibrant screen, disc drive, very good graphics card, i7 chip, built in memory card slot, and more Cons: the laptop itself is huge and heavy

Love the touch screen and the speakers are the best I've ever heard on a laptop, good size screen and speed is still good after two years. I absolutely love the lighted keyboard also. Can't go wrong with this one

I am enjoying the purchase of my laptop because the screen is large to use as a stand alone office laptop, has fast enough processing to take on anything such as large excel files and business analytics. It also has lots of memory available that I will most likely never fill. I have nothing to complain about besides the high end price, but I will not need to upgrade any time soon whereas a slower model would probably tempt me to (So with less depreciation, this laptop is even more valuable than the price paid). HP and Apple are two of the most high quality products as well so paying the higher price for reliability, I feel, is well worth the price.

Ten years ago I bought a top of the line HP Laptop because I was learning Graphic Design and Web Development and thought the 4 GB memory was pretty powerful. It performed adequately for ten years. Recently I decided to replace my old laptop and found a computer which was priced similar to what I paid for my old laptop only this new one came with 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage and many more bells and whistles. I use my new computer for my Graphic Design projects everyday and am amazed at the speed and ease that it drives all my software. I have also been able to load additional Graphic Design software with no noticeable loss of performance. I could not be happier with my choice of laptops and plan to enjoy this one for years to come. I would recommend this computer to everyone looking for a quality product. .

I purchased this HP laptop to replace a 1 year old laptop that just wasn't fast enough, even though it had the latest & greatest i7 intel processor and spec-wise was a great computer. I am VERY happy with this new HP. I like that it's touch screen, which I feel like is going to be more important in the future. It's plenty fast, has a backlit keyboard (which I LOVE), has great keyboard feel/response, the mouse touchpad is easy to use and doesn't annoy me like my previous HPs have. It's not cluttered with a bunch of junk on the desktop. The speakers are pretty decent. The user interface is simple. I play graphic-intensive games on facebook and use it for a lot of email as well. It works well with my iTunes. I'm a fan of this new computer, and hope it keeps up the good work! It was a great price, too.

My computer has a larger than average screen ,it has touch screen, it has a 1TB hard drive which is ample storage for me,it has a slim design and a fast processor. For all of these features the price was unbeatable.

The HP Envy was a great buy and a great bargain. You get a lot for your money. Super fast, and easy to use with the great features like a back lighted key board, great sound, and beautiful graphics.

HP Envy large laptop notebook. Pros: LED lights up keyboard which is great for those folks who have a hard time seeing the keys at night; like me. It has Windows 10 and 16 GB. My photos on the desktop (as a slideshow) are very vibrant. There are so many more key buttons on the keyboard and it is touch screen. There is a touch screen keyboard too. Cons: I had to purchase the Webroot Internet Security separately, which I wasn't expecting. Wish it was a flip screen too. Overall, I love this laptop notebook. Still trying to learn everything it has to offer.

I purchased this laptop with the expectation of using it for no less than 4 years without needing replacement. Primary use is for small business use where basic photo editing is required and general business productivity tools. I did not buy this to be highly portable, but it is certainly a respectable weight for average travel. If you are a heavy traveler, pay a few hundred more for a lighter laptop with less power. I've debated several times about knocking the laptop down one star for the MS Office Suite not coming standard, but considering the market these days, this is on par. Touch screen is not used much, but nice to have as an option. Easy setup, update, and backup options.

upgraded to this computer and very happy I did. Sleek looking, fast and loving the size of it. My laptop has the best sound coming from it. The graphics are great. Watching a movie on the screen is excellent picture quality.

I would recommend this computer. It is so fast and easy to use. It is good to watch movies on, work, play games. The touch screen makes it so easy to get to where you want.

Fast with a big screen to see it. Have not used the touch screen as it does not work. Went out of town right after i bought it and was too late to just exchange for a working one time i got back. Have not taken in to get fixed. But works fine without it so far.

I just bought this computer 3 days ago. I really like the look of this computer but I feel like it has a couple of design flaws. I'm still trying to decide if they are deal breakers and if I should return it. The power button is an issue. It's not a button that stick outs a lot. I have to use my nail to push it in and turn on the computer, if I had really short nails I would probably have to use something to push it in. The other design flaw is the SD card port. It basically swallows the entire SD card. I have to use my eyebrow tweezers to pull it out. I wish it has a spring mechanism like a camera does, where you push it in and the spring pops it out. Another downfall is that it takes a bit of time to log in and get going, but I think its because of the face recognition feature. I might disable that so I can log in faster. Other than that I really like it.

Was looking for a new laptop to replace my old hp that was over 5 years old and all I could see was gaming laptops that were over $1,200 but I didn't want to have a gaming laptop. I saw this one had the newest i7 in it and a 1TB HDD and decently good graphics that were not bad at all and I even use it for remote play with my PS4 and it never lags. I looked at some 4K laptops but none looked as good as this one even with only a 1080p screen res. If I was to reconmend this to anyone I would have gotten two in a heartbeat!! Just don't want to pay another $900. Lol

Computer looks, works and performs great my only complaint is the battery life. Probably because of the great screen. Would definitely buy again.

This is one unbelievable laptop. I returned a Dell to upgrade to this. The display is comparable to a MacBook. The graphics and processing speed is hands down the best. I wasn't sure how I'd be impressed by a windows machine after having a MacBook Pro, but this is by far the closest you'll get without spending another 2000 to get it. No lag time, no graphics delay, and has all the storage capacity you'll need. This is worth every dollar!!

The product is accompanied with some high end specifications, this includes it's super sonic speed that will leave you mesmerized! It's 17.3 inch touchscreen display screen is another big deal to note.

I previously had a 2015 HP Pavillion laptop, but it got dropped and damaged. The Envy is the model that HP brought out to succeed the Pavillion ,and I didn't hesitate to select it as a replacement.
