I really like the laptop, and find the touchscreen very easy to use. It is much faster than my old laptop, which I really wanted, and is pretty user friendly, once I made the mental adjustment to the new windows.

I was a little leery of Windows 8. I liked Windows 7, but I guess at some point I would have to move on. My last was a Dell and I found the slightest torque on the body and the cursor would jump and I would find myself typing in the middle of the paragraph. As a writer, that was not good, so I decided to try the Envy. It still happens occasionally, but not as bad. I guess I should not use it in my lap and just place it on a hard surface. Otherwise, it seems to work well. I haven't had it too long so not sure how the flipping the keyboard to use as a tablet will work. I get leery of hinges taking a beating like that.

I've had the computer for about two months. I expected to pay a lot more for a computer with the quality and features that this computer has. The Best Buy sales rep helped me bundle a package that meets all of my needs for a great price. Screen is great. For a lap top, this computer is great with my favorite flight simulator games and joy sticks with Microsoft XP as the required minimum operating system. Getting used to Windows 8. The more I use it, the more comfortable I'm getting. The only thing I wish it had was a solid state drive. Other than that, so far, so good.

The first one i got had a minor problem with the screen so i had to take it back and get another one. There was a spot on the screen that went dim. Other than that i had no real problems. Still learning Windows 8.1 my old laptop ran Vista. Pros-Windows 8.1, fast processor and ram, backlit keyboard, Speakers are good for music and Netflix, a big hard drive. Cons-battery life and non removeable battery. Its best to keep charger with you if you plan to be mobile for too long.

I needed to replace the primary laptop that my wife uses, and the weight and versatility of this one intrigued me. When I combined that with Best Buy's pricing on this laptop, I decided to get it. Most of our other PC experience has been with Dell products, but the price and the features made me decide to try this HP product. While there are some differences is the feel and the operation of this laptop versus our Dells, we are very satisfied with, and I am happy with my purchase.

There is nothing to complain about with this laptop! It's fast, it's lightweight, it's slim, it looks good and it holds a charge!! I love it

I love my new laptop! It does everything I expected. Is fast. Light weight. Great as a tablet or regular laptop. Perfect for school or leisure.

Have had for two months. No complaints about this computer. Is fast but windows 8.1 seems to slow things down after updating it.

I am really enjoying this laptop. The sound is wonderful, it is easy to navigate, and light.

Got this at a great price and worth every penny! With the i7 processor and 12GB of memory, this thing is a speed demon! Does everything I was looking for in a laptop.

Great laptop. Love the dual feature of tablet and laptop. Touch screen works great. Windows 8 is taking a little bit to get used to.

Great computer but It didn't or wasn't set up to automatically download the appropriate software update (Windows C++) necessary for an upgrade of CyberLink Director Suite 3 software. (It updated everything else, though) It cost me extra to get a great and very helpful Geek Squad technician to update and install the software. Another Geek tech got onto a virus infected website. I had the computer only for a few days when it started not recognizing external hardware, so I turned it in for repair. I was just told today by the Geek Squad that I could come in and exchange it for a new one... I hope everything works better this time. I would recommend this to a friend but be aware of how to use it, make sure everything gets updated, and watch out for bad websites. The virus protection provided by the Geek Squad didn't have the bad website detection. Be sure to get the right Virus and Root protection software that can also warn you of bad websites. With the help of a not so good tech I got onto what appeared to be a Chrome website with an Internet Explorer Icon in the corner of the bar that you could not get rid of or look up to uninstall. The Geek tech at the Tukwila Best Buy immediately knew that it was a virus. This was my first exposure to Windows 8.1. I am by no means a computer nerd but I am tempted to try to learn more about computer programming and computer repair, even if I don't have the brains for it. I have been interested in computers since the Commodore 64.

Very fast, smooth and fluid operating system.. With next generation Wi-Fi, my downloads fly at crazy speeds. The touch screen is fun to use especially in alternate view modes. The built in speakers are just meh..but the 3.5mm jack output is powerful for audio media. The screen is sharp and crisp but I do wish the viewing angles were a little better when in tent viewing mode.

I had an idea of what I was getting when I purchased this computer. It is so full of surprises that everyday I am still discovering something new. Its light, convenient, the 360 degree is awesome. I wish the battery would last longer specially when connected to the internet. Overall I could not have asked for any better computer for the price I got it for,

I love my new laptop! I have a Lenovo Think Pad that I use at work as well as a Toshiba Touch Screen that I use for home office but his one surpasses both! It's fast, quiet fan and the battery outlasts both the other laptops (which are less than 6 months old). It is a replacement to my 8 year old Toshiba laptop - which honestly still works great but is slow. I hope that this HP has close to the longevity as my Toshiba.

I'm enjoying learning about my new computer HP Envy. The laptop has a 360 degree screen which is also a touch screen. It's easy to use.

features like: backlight keyboard, can be utilized as laptop / tablet, a 4 hour plus battery life. . .

I asked my 17 year old to pick out a laptop for me, my only request was it needed to be touch screen. It's easy, fast and I love it!

This computer is great and for the money a deal. The screen size is wonderful and picture is so clear this is a wonderful computer.

I love this laptop, it is very fast with a good screen and lots of memory. The backlit keyboard was what convinced me to grab it.
