Q: does this laptop have a camera
A: Front facing fixed web cam, Windows device driver calls it the "HP TrueVision HD" camera. Nothing special but it would work fine for Skype-type web video conferencing. There is no rear facing camera.
Q: can I change the hard disk by a solid state disk of 500 gb ?
A: You can swap out the factory HDD for a SATA 3 SSD in 7mm size but it takes significant work. There are 14 screws that must be removed from underside (2 hidden under rubber feet, 2 under stickers), disconnect 3 ribbon cables to lift off the keyboard cover, disconnect the battery connector to the motherboard, and then you can remove 3 screws and ribbon cable that mounts the HDD in place. Once you've swapped out the HDD for the SSD in the storage drive bracket, you can reassemble in reverse order. This should only be attempted by highly technical folks that have numerous PC/laptop builds/repairs within their experience in my opinion. fyi - I'm personally a highly technical IT engineer with 20+ years in the PC support industry that owns this particular model.
Q: does this have the ability to upgrade ram
A: The memory on this HP PC is upgradeable to 16GB of DDR3 PC3-12800 memory module.

A: yes it has bluetooth
A: As with almost all laptops today there is no Disk player at all with the machine. You have to purchase an external disk drive to play/write any disk.
Q: Does this model have lights in keyboard?
A: Yes! You can turn them on and off with a button on the key board
Q: Is the fan still noisy as previous HP laptop? or improved?
A: I hardly hear the thing running. I love this computer and I do not get excited about tech stuff
Q: The battery is only 3cell lithium. Does it affect the battery life?
A: You'll get 4 to 5 hours with just surfing.
