It is the best tablet design but the problem is it loads programs and web pages borderline to slow for even school.

I bought this laptop for my online schooling and I had nothing but problems with it since day one. Within the first week I ended up with 2 login accounts and I have no idea how. The admin account would not recognize my password and I couldn't get into my own computer to add programs or change anything. I was only able to get into my Mircrosoft account which did me no good when adding or changing anything. I contacted Mircrosoft and after hrs of them trying to get in they weren't able to either so I had to do a factory restore after a week. Once I got past that my keyboard would just stop working, I would have to turn it off and back on to get it to work. I installed a printer and my screen started to flicker and finally the entire system just crashed. I took it to Best Buy Geek Squad to look into it and before I got home they called to tell me that the computer was dead. There was no fixing it. I lost my assignments and other documents I had on it and now had no computer. The guy with Geek Squad spoke with his manager and they decided to give me my money back to get another laptop which was great. I have never had so many problems with a computer before. The design and idea of the laptop was awesome and I loved it but the Operating System was garbage. I knew I was taking a chance when I purchased it as its a new OS but wow....that was bad. I ended up with an ASUS and so far so good.

I can't believe this was open box, and went unpurchased. It is a really great touchscreen and runs Win10 with no problems. I am glad I got it for a great open box price, but I'd consider buying another one brand new if I ever had to replace it :D

Purchased twice and still an open box items where the default 1 year warranty already expired. Took days to get best buy to process return on second purchase. At the end, we got the service we need but it has been frustrating and painful experience. Note to myself, will not purchase anything online from best buy.

Back 3 times to Best Buy in 1 month for above issue

If you have never used a laptop like me its hard to understand

I was a little skeptic about the keyboard setup but after using it a few times I think its one of its best features. The only small complaint I have is finding a laptop bag. Even though its a 15.5in display, its more like an 18in because of the speakers on either side. best lap top Ive ever had, very impressed!

I had to return this immediately due to some issues i had with the open box item, not at the fault of the computer. I bought this "open box" and was surprised that the device was not reset to factory standard. Someone else's login (password protected) was on the computer when i started to set it up.

I bought the laptop online as refurbished product. the laptop is too big and uneasy to handle. i have a 17.3'' laptop, but this one is quite awkward. more so, the processor is very slow. takes long time to start and for every opening of the program. just frustrated.

Just go it, but love it as an iPad like computer with a large screen !

My wife took the time to load all the apps and made sure that the computer was in good working order. In about a week's time the computer was telling us it was unable to start, and after doing the recommended troubleshooting, we were not any closer to a solution. We took it to the Geek Squad and were told that the hard drive had crashed and there was nothing that could be done. There was no replacement available since they were a Clearance item and were on backorder. So the ultimate solution from the Geek Squad was to refund my money. And now that the money has been refunded, all of my accrued reward points 887, have been revoked even though the crash was not my fault.

I had this computer 10 days and since the first day it shuts of at random times. I took it in to Geek squad what a joke said nothing was wrong I brought it back home and still doing the same thing ,, going to return it today DONE

I am really a mac user, but needed a pc for work. So, after doing a ton of research, i wanted to take advantage of some of the flexibility offered in PC machines. I came across this guy on the website, and my local store had one open box...so i got it as a great deal! I have a Retina MBP and animal with an I7, so i didn't need the fastest thing in the world, but wanted something with enough power, and great battery life. First off, the design and build quality are fabulous! I never liked the look of HP machines until i saw this. The keyboard types amazingly well for something so thin, and the kickstand really allows for almost any angle. (with the exception of any kind of downward angle, should you ever need that) The New M processor has a fairly low clock speed but the turbo boost has a large range, and works effortlessly. You don't even know its happening because of the fanless design. The screen is big and beautiful! Bright and Full HD The Front facing speakers are without a doubt the best sounding speakers on a device like this, and the Beats sound engine is what enables that. But there in lies the only problem i have with this device...because of the speakers, it is much wider than your average 15 inch screen, and it has been very difficult finding a case or a sleeve to carry this in. My hope is HP will come out with their own case for this pc. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a very versatile machine, and doesn't need i7 power. Thanks for reading!

the display in the store had a unit that the keyboard did not work and I was told it was only the floor model that had that problem. I purchased the unit and within 2 days my keyboard stopped working, HP said it is a known issue and wanted the product back for 10 days and they would repair it but I chose to return it to Best buy instead and bought a different brand.

We bought this and took it home, great screen picture and sound from the Beats speakers. But the keyboard kept loosing sync with the computer and would not type nor would the on screen keyboard work either. I figure for $999 it should not have these issues right out of the box. Took it back with 2 hours.

Nice smaller size but still has a full keyboard. Plenty of storage space and all for a great price. I didn't need all the programs that were extra so this was a good fit for me.
