As a Dell customer, I was hesitant to buy an HP computer, even though I've owned other HP products. Dell had worked out well for us in the past. But Dell's well-reviewed 27" XPS touchscreen all-in-one is still on the 4th generation Intel processor, and Dell customer service refused to tell me when it would be upgraded to the 6th (I have a hard time buying outdated technology). Even if there isn't enough difference between the generations for how we use a computer, I didn't want to wait indefinitely to buy something. The HP Envy 27" was a good-looking option, and we've used it for about a month now. We are satisfied with it, especially after buying a different keyboard (the one that was included was terrible, especially since we weren't used to the smaller size and the flat keys). We bought an HP wireless keyboard (the "classic" version) for under $30, and it works much better for us (and the 5% back in rewards easily covered its cost). We also like the very large screen. Best of all, we have much fewer wires and no large tower to deal with. The all-in-one is very convenient.

I was impressed with how easy it was to get the HP running. You just follow the simple instructions and you are ready. The only problem I had was in using Photoshop. At first it took a long time to get the program running on my HP. But afterwards it works really well. The screen is nice and bright and the sound is really nice. It is a good computer.

A little slow for me at start up and tasks compared to i7 core. This desk top is a great PC if you don't mind waiting one or two seconds to start a program. The good side, it is silent, still fast, perhaps adding more memory could fix that program lag. Big high definition display, uncanny silence, amazing audio, sleek, sexy look. Replaced the keyboard and mouse it came with, it was just not my style. If you use this for school or work where you have to concentrate I would rate the PC a 10 on the five scale. It is so quite! Everything Bluetooth so one wire for the power. Yes I do love it, I will up grade the memory and give this PC a 7 on the five scale. I use it in the bed room and it looks OK my wife is happy about that.

The system works great when it is working -- fast, easy. The big touchscreen makes it a joy to work with. My single problem is that the background updating (or whatever it is doing) essentially freezes operation from time to time and when I go to restart it, the sign out sometimes seems like it lasts forever.

This product is everything expected. screaming fast, boots up very quickly, beautiful display, awesome sound.

This is one of the best all in one computer I have for gaming. It doesn't lag like my other two computers I have and the sound is great compared to the other ones but what sold me is the look and 27" touch screen. If you're looking for a all in one computer this is the one.

This computer is fast, sleek, easy to use, and the screen is HUGE. My kids love the touch screen as it helps them navigate the computer much easier. Photoshop and Lightroom run very well. Takes up minimal space on a desk.

easy to use, attractive complement to desk, fast and great value

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who does a lot of research/marketing online. He likes the style of it, it's very sleek. He also likes that fact it is a touch screen as well and that it has duh a high quality display.

Big, no HUGE! Love it, fast, its just the right purchase after my 6 year old PC was laid to rest. Takes up so much less desktop real estate as it's all in one and the touch screen is the icing on the cake. One hiccup was that the keyboard that came with it didn't work properly, HP sent another immediately. The End Happy Customer

With the extra big screen it is easier to see the writing. Runs pretty quick and so far it has been very nice to use. The only problem is every once in awhile the keyboard screws up like others have said but, I notice if you put the keyboard closer to the computer it will work again. But overall it is a very nice computer.

HP Envy 27 27-p014 ... Bought this item early this year and I've waited a couple of more months to make sure I make an unbiased review. I am satisfied in many ways - color, size, sound, ease of use ... Excellent! I give it a 5 !!! But note, for overall rating, out of 5 stars ... I give it 4. On other product reviews I've read, they have issues with the standard HP keyboard & mouse it came with and some them complained of it not working properly or it's not responding very well. I did have some minor issues on initial setup, but for the long time, I didn't really notice any issues. But for reference, a quick way to resolve it is to buy any good quality Bluetooth enabled keyboard & mouse you should be fine. The only issues that has been persistent and common to all other reviews is the wireless internet connection just drops out once in awhile. I've tried device update, did suggestions I read online but to no avail, it still keeps on disconnecting intermittently but not that often. There's no problem at all in my wi-fi so I know there's nothing wrong with my connection or signal. So my way around whenever it drops is I just "disconnect" the connection and "connect" it again. But since this might be a hardware issue on the wireless device/card itself, the best way to go around it is just to utilize or use the LAN connection - connect a hardwire instead and you'll have uninterrupted connection in not time : ) But overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I received a lot of good comments and feedback from others; my house guests loves it and always want to have one : ) Thank you!

I love my new computer! It was easy to set up right out of the box, and its slimline form makes for a great space saver. The 27 inch screen is everything and more. The only drawback is that the wireless mouse, included with the pc, oftentimes sticks; the tracking is not as smooth as I'd like it to be. Overall, I'm happy - I have no other complaints.

I was torn between this and a Dell but had so much trouble trying to get the Dell I finally gave up. I'm glad I did. This HP Envy is fantastic! I read many reviews and the #1 complaint seemed to be the keyboard... I've had no problem whatsoever but I don't get what the big deal is... Just buy a keyboard that you like. Geez! It's the computer you're buying, not just the keyboard. I've only had it a couple of days but so far am thoroughly pleased. The machine is lightning fast, the speakers are great (was thinking how bad computer desktop speakers used to be), and I love the new Windows OS. All in all, I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend.

This is a rather large touch screen all-in-one. I initially thought that this was going to be way too much, but it turns out to be a great fit. One heads up I would make note of, though the box for both the keyboard and mouse reference a USB dongle for communication, it does not need one, the support is also built in.

The keyboard is garbage you will need to buy a new one so add $70 to the grand total.Screen size is awesome. The computer is fast and the sound of ok.

I love everything about this computer. The screen is awesome. Touchscreen makes it so much easier to use. Speakers are great for music. I use this for personal and business use. Love it!

This computer is super fast! The touch screen is awesome, but it also comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard for ease of use. I am very pleased with this purchase!
