The feeder tray doesn't hold a lot of pages. So, remember to keep a packet of paper nearby. My HP computer constantly loses the drive to the printer. I've had to download it twice this year so far. Not sure if it's a problem with the computer or the printer. Prints & scans great.

So far this printer has proven to be well worth the price. It's not the fastest, but it is better than my old HP. The print quality is fine for our needs (mostly school papers and such). I especially like that the replacement ink cartridges are $10 less than what I used to pay.

This has worked pretty good for me. The only problem I've had so far was 1 paper jam, which was easy to fix. It's easy to use. Trying out the ink subscription, did not realize how much I actually print! I'm happy with the purchase.

If your looking for a good all in one printer for your home at a reasonable price, this would fit the bill. To date I am highly satisfied with the purchase. I appreciate the ability to print back to back and scan with several options. I have found a couple of quirks, such as the set up took longer than I expected for my desk and laptop but set up for my mobile devices were a breeze. It also is a little noisier when printing than I expected but doesn't seem to affect the print quality. As a technological product if I get a couple of good years before I replace it will be well worth the money.

I bought this printer because my old one stopped printing in black. So far this printer has been satisfactory, although I think it's a little bit slower than my last one. I haven't tried to print photos or to scan anything yet. It is easy to use and easy to load. Altogether a good printer.

The printer is still very new to me so as of right now it has been a great buy, it's not very difficult to install. My only issue with it is that it doesn't have the cord that connects the printer to my laptop if for some reason they won't connect through wifi. Aside from that, it's nice.

This printer replaced my old Epson nightmare all in one printer. It has been fantastic for printing & scanning at home. It also doesn't use up all the ink as quickly as the Epson did. I hooked this up to my HP Envy home computer & they are soul mates.

This printer so far has worked very well. The first thing I printed was a photo of a flower, and the detail was fantastic while the color rendering was pretty close to the onscreen colors of the photo. Usually color rendering is not very accurate, so I was fairly impressed. The printer is fast, quiet, and was easy to set up. Controls are intuitive and easy. I guess I'll see how good ink management and usage are; as of now I haven't used the printer much. I'm satisfied so far.

Great printer!! Very easy to setup on my wireless network. Printing quality is great. Reverse scanning is easy as well. Recommend printer for home use.

Very reliable and not a ink hog at all. Connects effortlessly with or without the usb cable and has a simple to use interface for scanning and copying.

Set up was very easy. I've used HP printers for 20 years and I knew the quality would be good. The wireless is great. Set 2 tablets up to it no problem.

Printer setup is a bit confusing. It makes you sign up for their monthly ink fee, which is worth, before accessing the software download. If you decide to join later the setup process stops!!?? Maybe it's changed now. I got my first ink delivered a week after signup. Do sign-up for the XL INK CARTRIDGES. 3 months later they started charging my credit card. Printer works just fine. Printer must be manually turned on before printing, if it goes to "sleep", you have to press the power button to print, which is a pain if you are in your bedroom and the printer on the first floor. The wireless feature otherwise works flawlessly. However, for the price paid you cannot expect more.

This printer is just what I needed. It prints fast and quietly. Easy to setup. Way better than the Kodak it replaced. Prints quality photo's too.

Purchased this for my son's dorm room. Price was great! Set-up was very easy and simple to install on new laptop and phone for wireless use.

This printer was well worth the purchase, not only was the price reasonable, but this printer passed my expectations by a far.! I am able print everything I need too, even surprised me by printing my children's school supplies labels that I made on avery's website, and this printer printed them perfectly... Even more happy that I signed up for the HP Instant Ink program... And there are different monthly options but it's so worth it and plus a 3 month trial... If you need a great printer at a great price choose this one.!

I give my purchase of the HP Printer 5540 series a 5 Star rating. I've had good luck using it printing photos and documents. The photos come out perfect every time. I'd recommend HP Products to all my family and friends. Very reliable products.
