HP Envy has all functions in one. Does all a parent, child needs with occassional picture printing too. A bit bulky though unlike our all-function computer (HP Photosmart) that broke!

I love that my new printer HP ENVY 5540 is a color printer that does not use as much ink as I thought it would. I go to college on line and print documents every day. IT'S GREAT!

My daughter needed a printer for her dorm and this model came highly recommended by the sales man and was on sale. It hasn't been used yet ,however, HP products are usually of good quality!

Bought this for my oldest kids friend for college... she figured out it was cheaper for her to buy a printer than to use one of the college's (they charge for each page printed)

I purchased a HP printer in 2008. The printer recently went bad, while a Epson printer I purchased in 2014 only last 1year. Every time I need electronic best buy is place to go.

Printer works very well. It is very compatible with my new iMac computer. I am quite pleased. It was recommended by the Apple expert in the store where I purchased my new iMac

Easy to set up, connected quickly to wifi and devices. I just hope it lasts longer than last HP printer I owned. Seems like they are disposable and only last a few years.

I bought this printer because our HP photosmart black ink stopped working after 7 yrs. The photosmart had an amazing scanner and printed really well, but was quite a bit more $$ than this HP but liked HP product. This envy is constantly loosing connection to our main destop, kids' laptops and ipads don't seem to have a problem printing. Scanner is constantly loosing connection so I have to turn on and off printer, then resets and prints or scans. Ink runs out quickly. I would go for a more expensive printer next time and avoid the hassles.

This printer replaced a HP which had a defective print head. Could not be repaired and was no longer supported by HP for replacement. Hope this one lasts longer than 1.5 years!

I have had several HP printers over the years. This one works great. The ink expensive though, but if you buy the XL cartridges they do last a long time.

This printer was VERY hard to set up. Had geek squd come and help and it still didn't do right after they installed. They came back and it is ok now. not very "install" friendly

Set up time is minimal and easy I bought this as a secondary printer to my HP 8600 primarily to print photos. I bought it when it was on sale and am happy with it so far.

Bought for techno challenged Mom. Easy setup,tho sensitivity for touchscreen was too sensitve for me. Have relied on HP products for 25+ years at home and work.

Great Quality printer for great price. I love the 4x6" paper holder. You don't have to change from regular letter size paper to 4"X6" paper. This is a very handy feature

Perfect for homework or everyday use, you can connect it to your phone through WiFi and print it from there. Very happy with the purchased.

Love the instant ink program with this printer- easy to set up and extremely affordable each month. The printer works smoothly with minor sound. Decent to slow print speed.

Work has become easy and quick for everyone in the family since this printer is wireless. The only downside, it lacks the fax feature.

Great printer, love the wireless capability. Does not have a FAX but I never used that feature on other printers. It was nice not to pay for a feature I didn't need.
