Great printer, easy setup. The only reason i give 4 stars is because the instructions do not tell you that you have to use the installation disc. It installed itself as soon as I connected to it. Even set me up for the ink service where theu send you ink each month. only to stop working after the first week. Then I had to troubleshoot and found out that I had to reinstall using the disc.

I've tried different brands in the past and just came back to HP. So far, this printer has served my needs and has been reliable and worth the price paid. I opted for the subscription ink service to along with the printer and am still evaluating if that will be worth it. But, for the price of this printer, it's a good device for copying, scanning and printing for the occasional user.

This printer met our expectations, performs well and the printing is crisp and clear. The reservation I have is that it does not power on when the computer comes on. We have owned a fair number of printers over the years and this is the first with that flaw. I work on a text and hit "print" and nothing happens until I reach over and press the power button. It is not a BIG problem, just an annoyance.
