I was skeptical at first, based on the single color cartridge. I tried another brand printer for the individual ink cartridges, but returned it because the set up was frustrating, at best. I have had great luck with HP printers in the past. One major selling point for me was the Instant Ink option, which saves me a fortune. The 2nd major selling point is that the print head is built into the ink cartridges, so you get new heads every time you change the ink. Initial set-up was a breeze. Prints both color and b/w pages clean and crisp at an impressive speed. Also, with the built-in Wi-Fi, you can easily connect to Apple® AirPrint and HP ePrint and print directly from your compatible smartphone or tablet. THIS IS ANOTHER OF FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THE HP ENVY 5540!! I am so happy I made the best decision and came back to HP!

We love the printer. It was so very easy to set up. It was very user friendly and we love that it is wireless. The printed documents are so very clear. Also, we really notice that the colors that are printed are real true colors. Oh, one more thing the size is perfect. Oh, and the printer is quick!

Great printer for what we need it for. We don't print a whole lot, but it comes in handy when we do need it. I've printed a few photos and it prints AWESOME quality prints! No complaints!

This device is all in one and prints good quality photos. Love the wifi print capabilities and mobile device printing. However hps printing app makes it difficult to print anything but a 4x5 from mobile device. Recommend printing from computer if doing photos. Documents print fine from mobile devices. Overall a great printer for the price and the ink is not terribly expensive.

Our prior HP printer failed after 7 years. Printer had overall good reviews, good price and in stock at our local store. It was easy to install. No problems interfacing with our 7 year old Dell PC. Also, signed up for HP's cartridge program, seems like it will save us a lot of $.

I have had my printer now for 2 months and no problems at all. Easy set up and works with my phone too.
