The HP Envy 7858 is an impressive all-in-one printer. It delivers exceptional print quality, wireless ease, and efficient scanning and copying. Its touchscreen interface and quiet operation make it a solid choice for both home and small office use. Ink costs are a minor drawback, but it's worth the investment for the quality it offers. Highly recommended!

Great printer! Terrible app! HP Smart

Honestly a great printer. Simple to set up and easy to connect to the Wi-Fi which is a huge deal. I'm not a big fan of the HP Smart app which seems to be the replacement for pretty much all the HP printer setups. However, setting up the printer and Windows 10 or newer is pretty simple, even without the HP Smart app. After connecting the printer to the Wi-Fi, it was easily recognized by the windows 10 and windows 11 operating system without even using the HP Smart app. However, certain functions are not available without the app. So unfortunately, if you're going to use the full functionality of the printer, you are stuck using the HP Smart app, which I think has a lot that it can improve on. If this review is based on the HP Smart app alone. Then the review would probably be one or two stars. However, HP makes a pretty good printer. The cost of ink is pretty rough and they kind of force you into using their subscription based ink service, which is a big reason why all of these new tank printers are a big deal from the Epson to the Canon tank printers. Saving money on ink is the big winner here. However, HP is yet to hop on this bandwagon, but all in all HP makes a great printer which is why I'm giving it a five stars. Been using HP printers for years with little to no issue. Most of the issues now. Stem from the HP Smart app which leaves a lot to be desired

I recently purchased the HP ENVY printer and I can honestly say that it is the best printer I have ever owned. The print quality is top notch and the setup process was incredibly easy. It also has a ton of features that make printing much easier than before. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality printer!

This printer was a very nice upgrade from what I had before. The set up was very easy including the app installation. I like how the printer refill process works, once your printer is getting low in INK it will ship new cartridges to you home. I also enjoy being able to printer from any of our wireless mobile or tablet devices.

This is my second HP printer. Very happy with it. Everything works great, although the printed page receiver extension does not pop out easily. Needs a little help. Great value in a printer with so many functions

This printer is awesome. It took just minutes to set up, connect, both wired and wireless, to both my local network and the wider internet. The print is crisp and clean and the photos come out beautifully, even on plain copy paper.

I bought this unit to replace my HP 4650 that had the black ink stop printing. It took a bit to get it set up the way I wanted, but once done it has been a good unit. One note: if you have or need to print from email make sure the unit you purchase does not have an "e" in the model. They can not do eprint from email only computer.

It started well and ended badly. It prints photos clearly on photo paper. It’s not a fast printer, but it’s easy to load with plain paper, card stock, and photo paper. The offer of free ink for 9 months sounds great. You have to sign up for the replenishment system and add a credit card. You only get ink if you completely run out unless your printer goes offline and HP can’t track it. 8 months and 3 days into ownership or stopes printing. I get an error message. I tried to troubleshoot it through HP. Once I didn’t renew my instant ink membership it’s stopped printing even though I had over 25 days left in the current membership per their calendar. I could no longer scan, copy, or use the printer at all. Thankfully I’m a total tech support member and was able to use the warranty. Yes, the computer and Best Buy warranty were both over. It was extremely frustrating that I was not told the printer would stop working if I didn’t order more instant ink. I gave it to Starbucks because it worked fine for 8 months.

I picked this up during the holiday sales. It was a sweet deal. I suspect that's because this model is discontinued. It test printed fine. It comes with five 4x6 photo paper. I printed two photos from my vacation and they turned out decent. It's not professional quality, but it's good enough that I'd be willing to put them in a frame. I may use Lightroom or Photoshop for future prints but all in all it's not bad. I mostly got it because I always have to print something for one reason or another and running to FedEx Kinkos to do it all the time is tiring. The photo feature is just a bonus. I wasn't a big fan of the setup but I got through it. It's a good buy if you're not looking for top-notch professional quality photos. So, basically I got it for the sake of convenience (the need to print comes up more often than I realized). Works really well.
