Great PC design, terrible HP warranty support

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the HP ENVY Curved 34" All-in-One for about two years now. The design and curved screen are excellent and I would give this PC five stars for that. In fact, this is the second HP Envy All-in-One we purchase as the first was excellent with now hardware problems. Unfortunately, our unit had an issue when the machine was warm - every time I needed to use for work with a deadline - with screen glitches that would cause the whole screen to go black for a few seconds repeatedly. This made work difficult if not impossible. This screen problem began occurring after the manufacturers one year warranty, however we had purchased an extended warranty directly from HP. Over twelve months, five case numbers, multiple remote calls, two mail in "repairs" that did not repair any hardware but simply reset Windows 10, we have finally demanded a replacement or refund. Still awaiting HPs response as we deal with overseas support.

Poor design!

The specifications are not bad for a mid-range PC and the monitor is very nice that's about it. I had mine for a little over a week when things started to fail. They were failing because even at dle this thing runs super hot. When I say hot I mean 140 degrees at idle and upwards of 210 degrees under medium load. The system would constantly fail when doing any sort of video editing and after a week the touch pad volume control no longer worked. For the price I would stay away from it unless you have loads of money to toss away to just browse the internet or read email. Because that's about all you could do with out causing this thing to catch fire.

Very easy to use and the built in assistant even talks and follows commands! Sounds awesome and has pop up camera which has face recognition for added security. This desktop will blow you away - absolutely love it!
