Chosen to replace an old HP desk top. I have found HP products to be very reliable. Not sure as yet about Windows 10. I'm currently having a lockup problem but that may result from other thn the Windows program.

I think the instructions with it are a little too brief and simple for me. It lacks a VGA port so I had to purchase a VGA to HDMI adapter. Overall it is a fast computer just a little getting use to Windows 10.

It works like it's supposed to. It's easy to hook up and use. The only down side I can think of is the DVD drive. The door must be opened by hand before deploying the drive tray and the drive tray seems fragile, though I have had no problems yet. The drive tray is more like the ones on my laptops.

Needed to update my existing family room pc from a core 2 vista machine to something faster and newer. this did the trick. Much quieter and faster and a lighter piece of hardware. love the speed of the 2Tb HD.

Love the sleek appearance. Good balance of memory and processor power. Easy web-browsing . Like the remote feature that allows me to play music and movies from my smart phone. First time purchasing HP computer. Great tutorial guide.

I intentionally sought out a machine that would exceed my anticipated needs in all respects. I have not been disappointed. One minor problem with the dvd drive. It is vertically mounted and hard to load.

This is a great computer with 8G of memory and 2 TB harddrive. It's runs fast and is very quiet. I wasn't sure I would like Windows 10 but is pretty nice after getting use to it.

Great PC at a great price. It would be nice to have a VGA port. I am not too fond of 2 T hard drive. I would have a smaller storage - a solid state drive of 256 or 500 gigs. However, great PC. The wireless keyboard and mouse was defective and Best Buy promptly exchanged them.

The computer was easy to set up except needed HDMI cord for the monitor which didn't have that hook up so ended up going back to exchange the monitor. So far we're happy with this computer.

This is the 3rd HP desktop we have had. Had this one for 6 months. We get about 4 to 5 years out of them before its time to upgrade. This computer has loaded quickly, not dropped wi-fi, runs silently and done everything I have asked of it. It does come with your usually bloatware but that is fixable. When we first got it, we had WIN10 issues, with updates and the use of google I got everything working the way I wanted. Overall for a daily home computer I would recommend this one.

I have had no problems with this unit. It runs very quiet. No crashes or reboots, like my old computer. And is very fast.

Replaced my Windows 7 with this pre-loaded Windows 10. Did not want to upgrade an older device. It is great and easy to use. Great service from HP--not so good with GS. Each time the GS does something I have to un-do it or call them again. However, the GS is very thorough.

I purchased this computer on Black Friday and it has exceeded all of my expectations. If you are suffering on an older PC that is running slow due to a Windows 10 upgrade, this computer will lift your spirits.

I purchased the HP Envy Desktop computer to replace a older HP desktop I also purchased from BB back in '07. The old computer with Vista was great but the older software support was or had ended, plus the machine was slowing down, etc. So I researched online and found that BB had this machine on sale. 12GB Memory, 2TB Hard Drive. WOW. Very nice. BUT... the vertical DVD/CD drive feels and looks cheap It seems to work fine but I'm afraid that I will break something everytime I use it. HP includes a wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is layed out differently, keys seem to be closer than the previous HP keyboard, also has a cheap feel to it. The wireless mouse has very sharp edges, almost to the point of cutting your hand. HP really should address this. And the mouse feels cheap. Windows 10...Is nice, fast, super features, but for some reason, the Windows mail client setup is a little cumbersome and unpredictable. I followed every video, read every instruction Microsoft posts, but the mail client sync seems to work and then it doesn't. I'll go to my Yahoo account online and there is new mail. I go to Windows mail and sometime it syncs. I may have something set wrong, and I'm sure I'll figure it out. I sure wished Microsoft made things a little simplier in their mail client. I'm a 50+ year old guy and pretty tech savvy. Big Apple user, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, etc. Apple makes it simple. I almost took the computer back for a Mac, but I could not justify the cost Apple charges. Plus I use my computer at times for work, so I decided to keep it. I'm sure overtime I'll figure out the Microsoft way.

This is a great machine... little bit pricey.. but I am running fast.. and even know this is not intended for gaming my grandson runs his gaming with no issues.... I an not a fan of the position of the usb ports and so glad it has a card reader... but it being on the top of the unit, it gets dusty very quickly so I find myself constantly wiping and afraid I am pushing some dust into the ports.. but do like what it can do...

This computer has many features that make it a great buy, including fast processor, the multiple USB ports and two HDMI output ports. The DVD-RW DL drive is important to me. However, I would have liked a bay to add a second internal optical drive. I recommend it!

Because I am a creature of habit, getting used to Windows 10 took some time but the computer is a great deal for a good price. Started right up with no issues during installation

Nice for the price. It could be faster, was a bit surprised that it wasnt much different than the old computer i just retired. But so far, works well and I'm pleased with it.

The setup was relatively painless save for trying to get my printer to work with Windows 10. This is not a problem with the computer, but a Windows 10 issue. I've very pleased with this machine. I like the wireless mouse, but I wish the wireless keyboard were full-sized. This isn't a problem for my normal sized wife, or if one is used to a laptop keyboard. Overall, I think that this is a fine machine for the price.

My husband and I had an older HP Computer that we purchased in 2008 but was now running slow. So we decided to get another HP Computer. This new HP Pavillion is exactly what we needed. We are very satisfied with it. Thank you. Bill and Carol Thorne
