Works great. However, we bought a open box model and the sales clerk did not give us all the parts. So, we had to drive an hour to return it for one that had everything.

Ok HP computer. Reliable. Good performance. Only negative is in tower redesign they put drive access vertically on side panel and it's awkward to get to.

Intel processor works much better with my video editing application than the AMD that was in my last system. I've been very happy with this system over the last few months I've been using it.

Bought this to run certain programs that I have. Some are graphic intense. So I had to buy a high end graphics card. But the computer works great and Windows 10 takes some getting use to.

Seems to be a great computer so far! The only thing was that it would not run the Solidworks tutortials when my son tried them...but it does run Solidworks software.

    Computer great / preipherals bad

HP has really stepped up and is putting out superior product now (was a dog decade ago). This is a solid computer for home use or small business. However, the wireless keyboard/mouse supplied is a disappointment (Imagine Batman wearing Keds sneakers - woefully wrong equipment). Mouse click reaction rate is slow (so a no go for gaming) and keyboard only a week out of box randomly started skipping letters / multiple printing. HP customer service gamely tried for two hours to adjust remotely but declared it malfunctioning & sent replacement 3 days later. Problem is it started up again on the replacement after day 1 (had to use old attached keyboard to type this - lol). Will try again. My advice to HP - if can't include decent peripherals drop the computer price (which by the way is reasonable for the quality of this tower) $50-$75 and sell (quality ones) as separate item(s). I am listing it as a "would recommend" but with above noted caveat.

I am not particularly tech savvy; this was a breeze to set up and get started. Powerful, SUPER quiet and allows mega-multi-tasking without lag. My main computer usage includes processing and editing hundreds of photographs on a weekly basis, as well as gaming. Smooth operation all around. My only dislike is the CD/DVD drive. The vertical design is a bit awkward and the tray feels flimsy.

    Good Value But Some Flaws

This model offers a good value in terms of processor, HD size and RAM. However during initial setup it does not recommend making Factory Restore DVDs. I would have had problems if I had not done that because of past experience as I inadvertently corrupted it. when replacing factory anti virus with mine. I also found the factory keyboard to slow to react to keystrokes and had to replace it. The factory mouse was also jerky on most surfaces. That also was replaced. One other thing to be careful about on this computer that it only has HDMI out for video. If you do not have a monitor that will accept HDMI, you will need a monitor even though you may have one that works otherwise without that type of connection. That could make a difference in total cost for some as there are alternates not that much more expensive that have multiple connections for video.

This desktop was easy to start up and integrate into our home system. It required an adapter to fit the 15-pin monitor plug into the computer that should have been sold to me before I left the store but which required a return trip.

The good: Big hard drive, processor is fast enough for my purposes (I do not game), the brushed metal does look good from the front, 2 HDMI outputs to monitors or HDTV, wireless keyboard and mouse work great with dongle in rear USB port, has a DVD player if needed, has bluetooth and wireless, there is not a ton of junk software you have to immediately delete. The OK: Brushed metal stops at front of computer, the DVD door is flimsy at best and vertical for putting DVD's in (I don't use often), the USB ports on top are rear facing so I am in the "blind" when trying to plug in a USB cable for charging phone or portable charger. The bad: I ditched the McAfee antivirus software before trial expired, it sucks. I wish I could change the direction of the top USB ports so it would be easier to plug in portable charger and phone.

Got this computer as a Christmas present. I still own a HP laptop so this desktop was a replacement for a bigger PC with more memory. Can't wait to get speakers so I can really hear the true sound. Loving my new PC.

Got this computer because the one we had crashed several times in one month trying to run Windows 10. Having Windows 10 was a priority. Our other computer wasn't fast enough, this one has everything we needed plus.
