Great desk top computer

So after reading other reviews I decided on this HP desktop. I like that the USB slots are on the top. I can leave them plugged in without them getting in the way and it's also nice to be able to store them on the top when not in use. Not a big fan of the sideways CD/DVD tray, but I'm getting used to it. Just hope it doesn't break off snapping in or removing a disc.

McAfee is a hindrance, not a help
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I'd give it 4-5 stars, if it wasn't for the fact that the McAfee software that comes pre-installed is horrible. It slows everything to a crawl. When trying to set it up, transferring files, installing programs, even web browsing, it was VERY slow--like 1990's speed when a computer was low on memory. That bad. Even trying to use the explorer to view files was watching the spinning circle for several minutes. Totally unacceptable. For some reason, I got the idea to disable/uninstall the McAfee. As soon as I did, everything was normal. This would have gotten at least 4 stars except for that experience.
