Excellent - Fast - Computer for the money. Use the computer for home use and work. Easy setup and started to work on the new windows 10 within minutes.

I replaced my 10 year old HP tower with this new one and I really like the speed and the wireless keyboard and mouse which came in the box (I upgraded my old one for $75 on my own). I'm not entirely sold on Windows 10 yet but I'm sure the growing pains are just that. I'm a casual user and don't do much more than watch videos, Netflix movies and Xfinity shows so I'm not a very advanced user. What I need it to do (multi task amongst several open windows for kids homework and research) it does very well.

I love the computer! I'm not a big fan of Windows 10 but that really has nothing to do with the performance of the computer. The processor is super fast and there are plenty of USB ports for all of my accessories. The only thing I don't like is how you load discs into the front, it's a little awkward and takes some getting used to.

Simple and comfortable to use right out of the box. Recommendation by the BestBuy staff for size, speed, etc. was useful.

The computer is not as hard to use as others said it was. But,I miss the old windows 7. I cannot play most of my boxed adventure games anymore because they will not play on Windows 10. I looked forward to being able to going back to play them again. I cannot convert them to use them, as I could with my old computer. And I have to type in the name of things like "control panel" instead of clicking on it to open it. If I cannot remember the specific term, I cannot get where I wish to go.

Excellent value for a Disk Top. Plenty of speed and HD space. Geek Squad did a great job in transferring all my info from previous machine. I would recommend this Computer to a friend.

Its fast and effiecient . Does all of my programs , loads everything quickly.

I give it a five star rating because of what you're getting for the money compared to similar competitors' products. The unusual feature is the vertically mounted CD drive. You need to flip open the vertical door by using your fingers on the right side of the door. Then you see the little oblong black button on the front of the drive which is mounted in the top half of the opening. You push on it and the drive pops out partially. You then pull it the rest of the way much like you see this on many laptop models. This can be annoying if you use this drive a lot. I use it occasionally; I got used to operating it. It works just fine. I bought mine new in box; set-up was a breeze. On the top of the housing, on the right side, is the power on-off button. A little further back, on a vertically slanted panel, you find various connector in/outputs for SD memory cards, headphone/mic, 2ea USB 2 and 2ea USB 3. There are also the usual in and outputs on the back panel. The computer works quite well. I think you would be hard pressed to find such a device with the features for the same money from a different maker. Kudos to Hewlett Packard! I do like the sleek and uncluttered appearance of it.

Very sleek looking. High performance. Price was right. Plenty of storage.

The only thing I don't like so far is the location of the flash and all other plug in's as they are located on the top of the tower. I would prefer them to be behind a door on the front of the PC. Also, getting used to Windows 10 as there are some programs at this time that are not compatible with Windows 10.

if your looking for a pre built pc at a great cost and some good to ok specs and want to expand a little then this is your pc. it has a sp=ot where if you want to add a gpu (graphics card) then you you have a slot and if it needs a extra opening then you have it. it runs well out of box and you can watch youtube videos at 1080 60fps no problem and runs games at about a medium setting . so over all its great out of box.

I so love this HP Envy. It's so much faster than my old 1gb machine. I'm not near as enthusiastic about the software. I've become accustomed to Windows 10 but really don't like Bing. When it searches for something, instead of just letting you see what it found, it's like it expects applause, hugs and a few drinks because it did what it was supposed to. I use Chrome!!! Overall, buying this was a pleasant experience and the Best Buy employees we dealt with were informative, friendly and courteous.

The improvement in speed of the processor, added memory and hard drive speed was significant in improving the functioning speed of the computer, thus reducing frustration.

We have multiple clients for whom we use QuickBooks Profl, Microsoft Office Profl and email almost exclusively. We bought 2 Envy desktops and are very happy with them.

Powerful PC. USB ports are inconveniently placed but not a deal breaker. Good machine for the money.

Runs very quiet, has lots of ram for multitasking. I run several programs at one time with ease. On board graphics are pretty impressive, I did not expect much but it does look smooth and picture detail is great for editing. Overall I would definately recommend this desktop to anyone doing photo/regular video editing!

This is a really fast computer, but it took a lot to get the sound working with Windows 10. I had to completely uninstall the sound driver and then go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver. Since I got it working, it's been great!

Lightning fast. Was told I'd never live long enough to use up all the memory.

Awesome machine and got a great deal on black Friday. everthing runs smoothly and it even includes a wireless mouse and keyboard. 2TB is way more than enough space and 12 GB ram is also more than what I realistically need. The 8 usb ports is very usual for me, as well as the HDMI output port. VERY SIMPLY PUT, I LOVE THIS THING!
