I purchased this computer to monitor and record movements on seven wireless HD cameras. So far, the computer has worked as hoped for and have no complaints. The HP i5 might be overkill, but wanted something that would handle future expansion of the camera system.

It is rather large taking up a lot of space. The plug ins are hidden on top of the machine making it harder to use a jump drive. Overall it is a nice computer for home use.

Computer is average for normal word processing and web surfing. If you are looking forward to upgrading the terrible on board graphics card expect to replace the power supply and patent optical dvd drive cable.HP also decided to place the cpu fan sideways so good luck trying to optimistize the cooling. If you're a casual gamer this product might not for you.If you're okay with changing your PC every two years give a go!

I'm in my final year of grad school. My last computer was fried by lightening. This one has been great so far. Windows 10 is more user friendly than I thought it would be.

Got this to replace a Dell barely two years old. Dells have headphone issues. The HP Envy has Bluetooth! Use wireless headphones and links to other bluetooth devices. Had Geek Squad transfer data from the Dell to the HP. Lovin' it!

This has been better than expected so far. Don't like that the keyboard is proprietary, It's ok, but not great and you use or or lose it. You can't give it away since the rcvr is on the motherboard. Everything else seems to be doing great.

The product review on the Best Buy website said it was (3) monitor capable, which was my requirement. It didn't state that you need an adapter to make the third monitor work, so needed a second trip to the store. Now everything works great.

Have had it only about a month and it developed issues with the hard drive and had to have tech support out already.

needed a computer right away for an employee at work and didn't have a week to wait. great computer but the CD/DVD drive was kind of hard to locate and the tutorials don't really show how to access it, but once i did, i did a face palm.

Well, took it home. got it out of the box. relied on the employees opinion that that was as simple as it gets, and will be up and running just like my old tower. Ha, Ha. I told him I'm a tech idiot but he insisted there would be no problem. Basically, just plug and play. The first thing I found out was that my monitor was not compatible as it does not use the HDMI, and the tower has no place for the blue plug. It's back in the box. This is being done on my old system.

The sales staff in The Geek Squad were great I had a few problems at the beginning but they came right up and straighten them out and everything is great

The Best Buy employee did a real nice job explaining what I was buying and made me feel very comfortable. He was knowledgeable and willing to help.

I am very happy with the rig, except I needed to get a plug to connect my monitor which the salesperson did not mention. I ended buying a new monitor.

I have had some bad issues with this computer. The first one had a hardware issue and had to be returned. The second one works ok but the preloaded windows 10 will not recognize my wireless. I returned it to best buy and they tell me that it works fine---NOT!,,,,, I tried to resolve with my cable company and with windows support who both tell me to return it to best buy. I am tired of boxing a new computer and returning it to the store to get nothing resolved

I use this desktop currently as a Linux server and it has been running smoothly since I opened it from the box. No complaints here!

I bought and installed this for a small office setup, i have read plenty of complains about this computers but so far i have not experienced any problems. The metal finish gives it a nice touch of class that i enjoy.

i like the cd opening to be horizontal on the front not vertical

This computer is just what a need. You don't know how much technology has advanced until you upgrade your computer. One of my 'best buys' !

I recently replaced a 12+ year old HP computer with this gem. I love the case, the expansion possibilities (I want 12 years out of this one!) - most of all, the support you get with HP products is unsurpassed!
