Tried 2 an Geek Squad could not get either to work

We love our new computer. It was for my husband. Yippee, he has never had a new one and he loves this one. Am so happy for him that he picked this computer and loves to wander around all the new things it offers. He has always been on just Microsoft Windows. Hard for him to get used to things but he is working through it.

It freezes quite often but not worth shopping for another one at best buy at this point. We'll use it as a backup.

The CD player does not start on it's own. you have to manually start it .For the money it though it would be better.

I don't think that the GEEKS fully loaded what is needed to run the thing. Thank goodness that I have outside help,

This is my second computer of this brand, I have been having trouble with it freezing up if it sets in idle for a period of time and problems with the computer reading dvd's there is a very long wait for load time. I even went to BestBuy and the geek squad tried to load a dvd on the demo unit same thing very long load time. What I don't understand is this computer is on the high end with the latest I5, 6th generation processor and 12GB of ram but BestBuy dropped price to $599 and HP doesn't sell this any longer on there website. This leads me to believe there are known issues with this computer. The computer is fast and works well at times and I really do like it but very buggy, is this a windows 10 problem or simply a defective line of HP computers. Another head scratcher is why is BestBuy selling other computers with I5 4th generation and only 8GB ram for more? Be careful buying this computer maybe in time with windows 10 updates it will correct these problems and if they do it will be a great computer.

I brought the desktop to use as a office computer. I work overall well except it freeze sometime when i use excel

Cd rom is sideways not secure. Difficult at times placing disc on. Ports for USB are on the top hiding backwards also difficult to use. The auto run function didn't work. Task manager didn't work. I immediately returned it and wouldn't buy it ever again !!! Definitely not worth the price or style.

The computer was slow and kept crashing. I returned it and bought an Apple Imac 27 inch with 2tb fusion drive.

Having problems highlighting and copying items, lightroom won't work a lot of the times when pulled up.

I don't know how well it works because I was not told that I needed HDMI cable to hook it up and I don't live in town so it has been sitting in the box waiting on my new cable to come from Amazon. The sales person should have told me that it needed a new cable when I told them that I was using my old monitor.

I purchased the first one had it 1 week and it came on and said Hard disk error. I returned it and got another one. 3 days later that one said the same thing. I think this product is a lemon.

Geek Squad removed the operating system Windows 10. Then set it all back up. They have been great. This computer is going back to them again. I think it may just be this computer. Geek Squad has done all that can be done. Time for a change!!!!

At the beginning worked well now it's beginning to have some issues.

The computer wire does not fit the monitor, have to buy the wires.

Since 2000 I have built my own PCs...and wanted to purchase one built for a change... I should have built another. Even with 12GB ram....this computer seems to think about everything before it responds. Very sad
