I replaced an 8 year old HP with this unit. It ran slow and rough from the start then it crashed to black. Geek squad found viruses and junk in it after only 3 months, very poor for a new unit. It now runs without problems after a week of repair like an Intel i5 chip desktop should. Time will tell if my opinion of this unit goes up.

This is the fanciest computer I have ever had. It does so much and it can handle the work that I do on it. I bought this computer for the fact that my previous computer could not handle everything I would need open for my thesis research. My previous computer would just crash. This one handles everything like a pro. However, I constantly find myself having to restart the computer because it gets glitchy. For example, I'll go to open "My Documents" and it can't handle this simple operation. It'll load for hours if I let it. So then I am forced to restart my computer so that I can actually access my files. There are other similar issues with the computer. Nothing major, but is annoying and enough to lose two stars.

The computer is fast and with the programs easy to use

I have had my HP Envy computer with windows 10 for about eight months. It has proved fast and reliable. I have required no outside help in operating the unit. Windows was a pleasant surprise. I expected problems with program, but it includes many help options which answer most questions.

I love the speed of this computer and the memory as well as the size of the monitor. Glad we bought it.

Bought this desktop for the family. So far it's been great. Windows 10 is easy to get around in. The computer is fast when using the internet. The only down fall is it didn't come with any speakers. Therefore need to purchase a set. Other then that we are pleased with our purchase. I would recommend it to a friend.

This computer was easy to set up and get started working. I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade, what a difference. I am not crazy about where the USB ports are on the tower. They are located on the top and where I have to put my tower it is not easy access to the ports. It is not a show stopper though.

Easy to set up and has a great memory. The screen I have was very compatible and easy to set up.

Good computer for the price. Tons of memory. This is not a high end machine for gaming purposes, but if you are a casual gamer like me it will suffice just fine. The CD tray feels loose and cheap and it makes me a bit nervous that I will break it when opening and closing but no actual problems just yet.

The machine performs very well, except for the DVD. The vertical slot is, to me, inconvenient. The response time from the time I place a disk to the time I see the result is very slow. I have no auto start even though it is turned on. I miss the convenience of all the USB ports on the front of the machine, like the previous issue of this model. And I don't like windows 10 although I have been using it since it first became available.

Great HP PC. I've been looking for a great performing PC for school. Fast performance, plenty of space and quiet tower. The fan blows very soft and doesn't heat up. Great PC for the price.

I purchased to replace a 10 year old HP, this upgraded me and runs smooth for a great price.

This desktop does what it is supposed to do. All functions are fine. My only complaint is that the DVD/CD drive is flimsy and a little flaky - has trouble forgetting the disk after you remove it, making it harder to load another disk.

I don't like were the USB ports are located and the DVD loading sideways. Twice the computer has gone to sleep and would not wake back up. All I could got was a black screen. Had to shut down and rebooted two and three times to get back on. I would recommend to a friend. This is a good computer.

This has been a good computer for my family, but it seems to be a little slow and the wireless keyboard does not work very well. I have replace the wireless keyboard and it still seems to have a problem with delayed keystrokes.
