The graphics card is decent (pushing 2 4k monitors simultaneously) and configuration has fairly generous hard drive space (2 gb), but this is not a top performing machine. In fact, I have 4th generation i7 dell laptop with the same amount of ram and 1 gb of the same speed disk drive that is noticeably quicker when task switching and opening identical apps. I am not sure where the bottleneck is given the speed of the processor (6th gen i7) and the seemingly ample RAM (16 gb), but I suggest going with this model only if you can't find comparable specs in another machine for as good a price.

We found an amazing deal on this computer and best buy was awesome in helping us get the computer as quickly as possible! My husband loves it! It's perfect for what he wants to do!

I love the quickness and convenience of this computer. The number of I/O ports is superb and the graphics are superb for day-to-day work. A gamer would would want better graphics.

Great bones with I7 processor, sound, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and memory. 2 TB drive is large but slow (monitoring resources you often find disk usage is pegged while doing nothing). Built in graphics (Intel 530) is inadequate for basic games (FSX flight sim). I upgraded graphics with NVIDIA 960 and what a difference! I also added 250 solid state drive. The included power supply is only 300 watts, making an upgrade a requirement with addition of graphics card. It now runs great. I wonder if I could have done better (cost) by buying all this standard. There is only one PCI slot so I am done.

Too soon for a five star rating, there is a lot to learn with this computer! The operating system Windows 10, I 'am beginning to understand and like.

This unit is fast and has enough memory for my use. It is easy to use.

I use photoshop and premier and it runs them well.

It was exactly what I expected. Fast wifi(ac). Nice size hard driveDecent processor. Hate windows 10. But who doesn't. Not worth the hassle to load in Windows 7. Only thing I don't like is the on board video. O was looking for bang for buck so I gave that up to get everything else.

Great performance and very quite PC ... I replaced out 9 year old HP Elite that got too clunky and slow. My only gripe with the Envy is the strange location for the additional the extra USB ports on the top of the PC --- I'm not sure what HP was thinking! You have to blindly poke your USB plug into the available port. I guess they were looking to make the front of PC look clean and less cluttered.

This is a very fast computer. I like this computer a lot. What I don't like is Windows 10, this program doesn't work well with any computer. Also Best Buy employees should inform you that you can get $20 off of Office if you buy it with the computer. Office doesn't transfer from your old computer to your new one. This computer does serves all my needs.

Bought this computer to beef up for Lightroom & photo editing. I added 240GB SDD for Windows 10 and applications to work with the already installed 2TB drive for photos. Works like a charm and is extremely fast. I'm extremely happy. It's also very quiet.

The computer itself works good as advertised. My only problem with it is that I'm not loving the Windows 10 that is installed on it.

This computer does a lot! It plays games great. Its powerful and very nice looking. We are very happy with this computer from HP. It's well worth the money.

The computer is great, sleek and looks perfect on the desktop. So far it's running great, easy to set up and everything is perfect.

I purchased this as a cheap gamer PC.. Aside from the the lack of a dedicated graphics card, this machine has performed very well.

I would recommend this computer to anyone working with 3D graphics, and or if you have a lot of photos. I'm very happy with it and with Windows 10.

I initially purchased for my son as a gaming computer. It was great but as on any gaming computer, I needed to upgrade to a dedicated graphics card and an upgraded power supply. I lost the DVD drive but most games are online and I have an exterior DVD drive anyway. Having done all that, great price and fast computer to begin with. I just have a picky teenager:)
