More than what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. It's lightweight, easy functioning and sleek. I love the the keyboard lights up so I can work in minimal overhead lighting as needed. The pricing was good and the sales associate focused on what I was wanting instead of trying to up-sale me.

Not too bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this computer about 6 weeks ago because my Toshiba decided that it didn't want to keep its shell on. This computer isn't the worst one I have had. One of the reasons why I'm keeping it is because of the 1TB hard drive. In the beginning, it would crash on me. I was two seconds from returning it but haven't had the trouble in a while. In any case, it does what I need it to do. It's a little bigger than what I wanted by so what. I like that when i bend it to turn it into a tablet, the computer automatically switches modes. And the touch screen isn't so bad either. All in all, I would say that this was a good purchase.

A great laptop for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You definitely can't go wrong with an AMD chip for the money, and this machine is no exception. Except for serious gaming, this laptop will meet your needs. The "lay flat" tablet mode, which I normally see as a gimmick, actually works really well, as the screen is very responsive. Overall, very well done by HP.

Excellent Computer for College
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a college student so I need something good. This was perfect and I love the 2 in 1 feature. I also didn't think I'd use the touch screen but it is so convenient with scrolling pages and clicking on stuff. Super efficient and works awesome!

a great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop, I usually do not like big screen laptops, but this one is fantastic, it is fast, the keys are amazing and I LOVE the backlight, the only issue is you have to turn it on and off, but I really do not mind. The quality of the laptop is incredible, thin and made VERY well. So glad I bought it

Great TV for pre-teen.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My grandson absolutely loves his new computer. It has great screen quality, clarity, color, graphics, has more memory than a 12 year will probably ever use but we bought it with his future years with school use in mind. I love the fact that the screen flips to a 360 degree angle so he can sit it up and love the touch screen. The only downside I have to say about the computer is when charging the computer the lithom battery after on awhile it gets very hot. Overall love this Envy by HP...I have owned personally myself 4 HP computers in home and for my business and never had a problem with any of them.

Great for someone that had technology trouble.

OK WITH ONE MAJOR DRAWBACK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm an old Vista 64 user, so I thought I would jump into the current technology a little, and get a laptop and tablet combination, in case I needed to be mobile. I'm not a fan of the newer Windows operating systems, with the boxes. I started out with Windows 8, and then had to upgrade to Windows 10. Eventually, a friend showed me how to go back the shell desktop, so I have my desktop back before what was it? Windows 7??? My old Vista 64 tower finally died after replacing the power supply. I think it was finally the mother board, but fortunately, I had everything synced, so I was able to change over and started using the laptop as my new desktop. I use the shell instead of the Windows 10 format. I use a wireless mouse because I don't like laptop mouse pads. I use an old sensor driven keyboard because I can't type flat ... LOL ... The laptop has good storage with 1TG ... but I also have external hard drives backed up ... and it seems to process quickly. I run Outlook, Word, and Excel 2013 with no problems. It only has two USB ports, so I had to attach a USB hub. It also has an HDMI port. The worst thing about this Envy 360 is that twice now, I have had the dreaded black screen. And it's not even out of warranty. The laptop is running, it just has a black screen. Both times, I've brought it back with a combination of Bios updates, and arrow keys, or whatever else I have found online. I have NOT had to remove the battery, or anything else that drastic. But the black screen is definitely frustrating for a laptop / tablet combo that is less than a year old. The first time it happened was about 3 months ago, and my warranty runs out in November. The most recent incident was last week. But all in all, it has met my needs.

Perfect for new college student
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son picked this item over a $1300 laptop with all the glitz and glam displayed right next to it. He said he wanted a functional, inexpensive, durable, light weight and system ready device. I would have purchased the more expensive item and this smart boy was able to get the laptop, insignia sound bar, insignia 55' television and accessories for his Apple Watch with the $$$ saved.

Great computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this after my other died as it typically goes, compared the specs on this one to others of the same graphics card, storage, etc and this one was the best price. The computer is very sleek and attractive, I love that it has touchscreen but you don't have to use it ever if you don't want to.. literally the only thing about this laptop is that it may be difficult to open for some (elderly, those with tiny hands-may actually be a good thing though) Otherwise the graphics quality is beautiful and it runs very smooth.

Some glitches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this laptop for a year and 3 months and within the first year I had multiple small glitches but then they’d go away. Glitches include touch screen not working, keyboard light having a mind of its own, laptop shutting off on its own, brightness not letting me change it (would change like say it’s at brightest but the screen lighting wouldn’t actually change). Like I said it’s had some issues but they come and go, none are constant. I do have the geek squad protection but have yet to actually let them fix it because I’m a student and can’t go without my laptop for 5-10 days. When there aren’t random issues it’s a awesome laptop.

Great computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this has been a great computer. It has a lot of memory and is fast. I'm not a techie so I have no idea what many of the specifications mean but the salesperson told me that this was what I needed and he was right. It sets up easy and is very user friendly.

Ok product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially disappointed with the speed or lack of. I took it back to the Geek Squad and they took some of the factory programs off that were running in the background.... I'm tech impaired so I don't understand that. However, after that it began to run quickly. I have yet to find a word program on it. Appears that you have to purchase that. Again, that might be something that is already there and I haven't figured it out yet.

It does want you need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This HP does what you need and has plenty of memory, power and even a large HD screen. The best only negative is that it's very heavy.
