This is the second one I've bought. Both were for my sons for school. I was impressed with the speed and functionality of the laptop, and my son stated how easily it made doing school work, so I bought another for my other son who is entering high school this year. The 2 in 1 touch screen feature is a nice bonus too.

Very versatile and powerful laptop. I bought this for grad school and it’s been an excellent purchase. Very easy to use and set up. Performs very well for what I need it to do and the touch screen is incredibly responsive. Love marking up documents with my pen, too!

Solid computer, works great for multitasking, fast speeds and great resolution. I like the tablet feature and how thin the computer is. Only downside are the speakers- they’re relatively quiet while watching things like Hulu. Overall, great for college!

For a laptop, it is very fast. Love the touch screen although don't use it much. Nice to have 512 GB SSD. If less, I would always have to operate with an external hard drive. Keyboard is less friendly than my former ThinkPad laptop. ThinkPad keys were slightly concave but HP laptop keys are flat - not good human factors.

Got this as a gift for my girl. She’s used to desktops and never saw a reason to upgrade (until she was told that her Desktop is outdated and could easily be at potential risk of being hack….whatever) now she has adapted to something that meets her business needs. Another satisfied customer!

I had to get a new laptop really quickly after my old one got fried from a lightning strike. After doing some quick research I decided to go with this one and I'm so glad that I did. It's incredibly fast during use, but also on startup. I like the feature of being able to close the shudder on the camera as well as being able to mute the microphone with just a single button. I use it a lot for work and some light gaming and it tackles both with no problem at all. The screen is vibrant and internal speakers are very good. And it's a small thing, but I also like the back-lit keyboard for working at night.

The Ryzen 7 5700u does not disappoint. It rolls right over the 7700k and 1165g7 in benchmarks. In the Final Fantasy XV benchmark it scored a 2992 at 720p, Lite setting…. Real close to 30fps. However the system is always pegged at 50% RAM usage when idle which does not leave a lot of RAM for heavy lifting. RAM usage was at 94% while running the FFXV benchmark. This laptop will need an upgrade to at least 16gb of DDR4-3200 RAM ASAP. From what Ive seen of other benchmarks scores I can compare to, the lack of RAM in this laptop is holding the 5700u back. CPU temps are fine for the most part and theyre way better than the i7-1165g7. The Kioxia NVMe drive is decent. The only other thing that I dont like is this laptop lacks a numberpad. Its a decent laptop though and its miles better than the Flex 3 I had which sported an i5-6200u. A major upgrade. But like I said though, this laptop is lost because it should have never been paired with only 8gb of system RAM. If you buy this or any other laptop with the 5700u and 8gb of RAM, it will need an urgent RAM upgrade.

The only downfall is there being no numberpad and it tends to lose connection with the wireless intermittently even though I'll be sitting next to the routers. Other than that its great, I've become quite spoiled by the touch screen.

Love this laptop! Screen is a larger size than most. Which I love! I bought this for my daughter to use for high school. Speed is quick and it is co clear. It has a touch screen also that is very handy. Definitely one of my best purchases!

I have had this laptop for a few weeks now. Overall, it is great. If you are a Windows user, you won't be disappointed. Linux has some issues. But be aware that HP answers here are not accurate: 1) Incorrect HP Question Responses - USB-C Charging - HP says no USB-C charging. Yes it supports both the standard barrel type charger that is provided as well as USB-C charging. I am using USB-C charging right now. HP is wrong. - Max RAM - HP continues to say that max RAM is 16GB. I installed 2X Crucial CT16G4SFRA32A modules and I have 32GB RAM. HP is wrong. 2) Linux suspend and hibernate - I have not succesfully been able to suspend or hibernate. - Seems to be a common issue with Ryzen 7 5700U with all Linux kernel releases. - HP does not support industry standard ACPI S3, uses Modern Standby instead. - Linux kernel support threads speak to this and that a solution is coming. 5.12.9 still does not work. 3) Linux AMD graphics support - Seeing some horizontal lines flashing on both the laptop and docked monitor - It is not obnoxious and I am hoping that a future release will correct this 4) Linux Bluetooth mouse and keyboard support - Still working on automatically connecting to a Logitech mouse and keyboard. - Have to manually connect after each restart

This computer is nice and light compared to our old laptop. I like the keyboard that lights up; it makes it easier to do work in dim light. Like the touch screen and that it can be folded over and used like a tablet. The only thing i wish it had would be a dvd player.

I purchased this laptop as a gift for my Dad's birthday. He absolutely loves it! It has the speed and capabilities he need for both business and personal use. He also loves the touch screen! It's his new toy!

Pros It does everything I expected it to do. Ryzen 7 performs well enough for light photo and video editing for me. Screen is pretty bright. Fingerprint reader works like a charm. way better accuracy on it then i expected. Relatively light for the size. Plenty of I/O ports. Battery life is pretty awesome. Not macbook air awesome but i get around 6-8 hours of use before i have to charge it up. The USB-C port supports 45w PD. So my battery backup for my phone gives it a whole extra charge. This has been awesome. Cons Top speakers are awfully quiet almost thought they didnt work. they are just super quiet compared to the bottom speakers. fan can get a little loud but nothing crazy. Only 8gbs of ram but that can always be upgraded down the road.

I like this 2 in 1 laptop. It is the fastest laptop I've owned so I REALLY like it. I'm not a gamer, but I can imagine it would be great. I highly recommend this brand & model!

coming from previously owning a macbook, I didn’t really know what to expect from using this laptop. I’ve been using it mostly for school and so far it has been a great buy! it is very fast and it’s battery life lasts a long time! the one thing I would say is that when it comes to watching videos on like youtube or something like that, I find that the video quality isn’t that great but this is definitely a good buy for a student!

If your looking for a laptop that has speed and a really cool design, then this is the one for you. It could of had more ram but for the price it’s not bad.

I bought this laptop back in September of last year(2021). I have fallen in love with this laptop I never had a touchscreen laptop before. I will make sure my next laptop is touch screen. All of my laptop so I've been HP and they are really great products. This laptop does so many things. I paid an extra $50 on the HP website and got the PIN for it and it works great. I got this laptop when it was on sale and I haven't regretted my purchase since. So if you need a Labs I'll go get it you won't regret it.

Great laptop so far. My wife loves the touchscreen. Works quickly. Had to remove bloatware and Amazon Alexa.
