Its a good buy, light weight, and fast, but, gets very hot soon and battery life is not good, just 1 hr of working on fully charged.

I bought this computer offline hoping it would be a good choice and a good replacement for my previous laptop - the complete opposite. Every time this computer updates is takes at least 2hrs, and it's not optional - when you turn on your computer it does it for you. So if your in a rush and need to write a paper, or look up directions or anything this computer won't help. The mouse for the computer freezes a lot as well and when it does work it moves slow. I've only had this computer for 3months and I already want to return it. I was hoping to have this computer benefit me for school and now it looks like I'll need to purchase another one. This has to be the most disappointing computer purchase I've made.

This is a great laptop for light users, great looking, light weight, the touch screen is a great feature.

My first GEEKSQUAD recertified laptop came with a defective screen. The replacement laptop while not defective was not closed/ sealed at the top of the screen to the top of the laptop. I had to close it with my thumb and forefinger. It doesn't seem that the GEEKSQUAD pays very close attention to resertifing these products despite what they claim. Overall I'm happy with this laptop. I wish that it was a little faster, a little lighter and Windows 8 a little less a pain in the a_ _. But, for the price I guess that it's fine. You get what you pay for, I hope that Windows 10 is a free update for all of us who have struggled with Microsofts Windows 8, we deserve it. Microsoft seems to get every other operating system right. I'll update this review if their is any demand for it after I use this laptop some more.

Got this laptop referbished its my second one I buy referbished from best buy and let me tell you they work great and look new. This one was fast very resposive very clear and bright screen cant go wrong with quadcore its excellent more than worth the price.

I love my computer no problems from it at all. The touch screen, the size, and easy use us the seller for me.

I know this is a refurb but I still expect a recovery DVD and this laptop did not come with one, you can buy one for $30 from HP but I just bought a $400 laptop I don't wanna buy that too. Other than that great budget PC no complaints except BIOS has no options at all so I can't figure out how to enable dual graphics but those are my only complaints. Touchscreen is amazing I would never buy a tablet with these laptops and the smartphones they have out there no need for them. 4 out of 5 stars.

Purchased Geeksqaud approved HP laptop online. Thought it would be lightly used, but work well. I was displeased to find the battery was not keeping charge. I charged it all night and it would not indicate how much time it had left when unplugged. Took it back and purchased another laptop in the store.

As soon as I got it I opened it and would not turn on. Put charger on it and it turned on and message came up saying that that battery needed replaced. Do they not check these things before sending out. I am STILL waiting on a new battery!! Has been two weeks!! Will never trust Geek Squad again.

It's a very portable, nice laptop, quick and very ergonomic

Unfortunately, I had to have the keyboard and then the screen repaired (two different occasions).

Not the greatest computer. But it’s lasted 6 years. It finally won’t charge, the charger light won’t even light up. But it’s been a trooper.

Daughter wanted a touchscreen but didn't want to spend a fortune. Pleased so far!

Bought 2 times online. Both times they had an error indicating when you turn on the computer there was a problem with the battery life and when you get to the desk top I got an error message saying 'Scan boot non configurered correctely" Took both to geek squad, the both times they told me to return it because it was a bad machine. Both of them.---the very ones that Geek Squad had "refurbished" If I could rate 0 out of 5, I would. Ordering this machine was a huge was of 2 weeks of my life

The laptop was not only beautiful but also amazing and i enjoyed many of the features. I just hope that best buy will keep more on top checking if there products really work or not . Otherwise you guys also have excellent customer service

The best computer I have ever purchased. The price was cheaper than my other computer, which I hate! I love the touchscreen. When my husband is on this computer I use the other computer and instinctively try to use as touchscreen and to my disappointment it is not.

Nice laptop, shipping was fast, the only issue was the battery was not that great. I took our to best buy and they replaced it.

I was impressed with the way it looked pretty new looking like it had never been used before. Product was as promised. Gteat value however there was no paperwork.
