I purchased this laptop for school. It would say it had half life and die with no warning. It wasn't until I let it completely die and recharged it while it was off before it started holding about a 3 hour charge. I purchased the two year hardware protection so I plan on getting a new battery soon, I do feel like this should have been new on the refurbish though. I also caught a virus the first day I had the computer and best buy geek squad was very nice and fixed it for free. This is why I didn't make a big fuss about the battery. Overall this computer is great. It runs well and I'm glad I got a touch screen and win 8 for only 350 dollars. I'm also very pleased with the geek squad service I received.

So far the laptop has performed admirably for a refurbished unit. My wife is having more fun, being sarcastic here, learning the Window's 8 operating system than anything. With that said, any tasks done on the computer happen quickly and the screen is beautiful.

It's really excellent product in terms of cost-benefit. Good performance with relatively cheap price. Highly recommend to student for homework, web surfing, etc.

Laptop I bought was refurbished by geek squad and works great. Battery life is great. Picture could be a little better but not bad considering it's a touch screen and has a great size to it. I recommend this laptop.

I've had laptops in the past, but nothing compares to this computer. Its fast with no lag in the start up and the touch screen is the most amazing feature bar none.

Overall, I am very happy with this refurb model. Its like new and having the touch screen is great. The only problem was the first one I picked up had issues. It set up just fine, but within a couple minutes of startup it shut down and seemed like the OS wasn't working. I took it back and they were quick to give me a replacement. The second one worked great and is still running just fine after a month. I would recommend this to anyone, just make sure if you have any problems you take it back ASAP!

Great product. Runs fast and love the touch screen.

I am very excited with my computer -- I love it! It is just the right size and has fulfilled all of my requirements. I am still learning how to use some of its programs.

i was a little hesitant to by refurbished but i decided to give it a try. computer so far works great no complaints

Only problem, was that since refurbished, antivirus protection was VERY short lived, from date of purchase

We've had this laptop a couple months now and it hasn't given us any problems at all. It's super fast. The touch screen is pretty cool, when I remember to use it, it does makes things easier. My wife loves this laptop.

First time for a refurbished product, after many years / purchases, from Best Buy, over the years. Will probably be my last. Product was mis-represented, online, with regard to warranty period, and product details. BestBuy Online says it was a 90 day warranty, but after RE reading the product description, on their website, they agreed it is a 1 YEAR warranty, via Geek Squad. Also, this laptop was NOT keyboard backlit, as described. My local Best Buy store manager, Jeremy, in Appleton, WI.... jumped through hoops, to satisfy me, and to inform BestBuy Online, that they need to get organized, as far as product description, and warranty periods.

Laptop is in great working condition. Touch screen works perfectly. No complaints.

purchased this laptop "refurbished". Good touch laptop for everyday use!

The only cons so far is that the touch screen seem a bit over sensitive and it was advertised with a lit keyboard which it doesn't have. (probably meant backlit screen). Other than that it has been operating flawlessly!

This laptop although refurbished runs like a new computer with no hesitation.

As this laptop is touchscreen, it is fun to use it as a tablet by rotating the screen in any direction.
