Good value priced printer

It works well and prints at a good speed. As a black and white only laser printer it should last a long time. Toner is reasonably priced compared to color. I did not need color and mainly i'm mainly using for printing business and tax documents. My last HP printer (4L) is still going at 15 yrs old.

The printer started having Scanner Error 17 and 13. Googled around tried many tips provided on HP forum and other tech blogs, nothing can resolve the issue. Called HP tech support, they declare that the printer was not directly connected to the wall, that caused the printer to have this issue. What a Non-sense! All consumers are encouraged to plug the power to a power strip with surge protection. HP tech blamed that the issue is caused by not directly plug into the wall power outlet. Now, I have to throw away this 90% new printer M225dn... HP tech said this issue cannot be fixed... No longer trust HP printer!
