Good basic printer

I have always had good luck with HP printers and this one is a basic black ink printer. For basic printing it is excellent. I use this for my home office and the wifi print function is excellent. I would recommend this printer for basic jobs at the right price.

Flashing Light is Annoying!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The printer works fine, but when it goes into standby mode, the power light flashes. This is distracting and annoying! There is no way to disable this. I was going to take it back, but I would have had to pay a lot more. I put a piece of tape over the light. Come on HP, get your act together! Who thought this was a good idea?

I will return after I have used it and may upgrade to 5 stars. I have one laserjet 6p that I have used since it first came out in the 80s and it is still going strong!

It is fast enough for me and provides great quality documents. It was easy to set up for wireless printing and has been trouble free. I am a low to medium size user and could easily recommend this HP for similar users.
