Directions for hookup inadequate, especially regarding the fax--Screen is difficult to see--have to shine a light on it to see characters--scanner, copier and printer work well--top section of the machine feels flimsy--should be a manual with the machine to help set up and use properly--for price it is not bad

All I can say is that after around 1 hr of trying to synch my ipad for WIRELESS PRINTING - I gave up and poped this thing back in the box and returned it. Apparently their definition of wireless printing capability involves hard wiring your tablet to the computer. Who knew......I will say tho that Best Buy was good about the return and immediately credited my card without argument.

The printer is larger than I thought but fits the space I have for it, and the price was right. It's really a good small office printer, probably more than I need. Installation was easy. It also can be used to fax, which I didn't see in reading the specs. Copies are good and clear. If you need a decent B&W printer/copier/scanner (and obviously fax machine), this is a good choice. The only thing I would change is that the little "printer ready" screen does not light up and I wish it did. It is difficult to read.

No manual. No wires. Good luck with that.

This product is not wireless in that it requires a wired connection either to a router or via USB. Which, to me, means a wire. Who knew? No manual is provided. Online there is a manual designed for four different printers, including printers that are truly wireless. How to tell the difference? And if a wire is required, why did HP not include any wire whatsoever, ethernet or even USB? I must "supply" my own wire, I later learn. But I also must "supply" a new router, because my existing new router doesn't have an extra external port, which normally would not be needed. After hours of trial and error and IT support, I realize that this is an "all in one" printer that was not sent in a condition to do "all" at all, and nothing involving a computer connection.

Excellent printer with all the convenient features especially the wireless connectivity as my kids can send print jobs from their own room. Happy with it so far.

Not even fit for light use.

This product didn’t even last a year before the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) broke. The flatbed scanner adds vertical black bars on each scan and I assume it does that as well if the ADF were still working. Nowadays if I need something scanned, I have to connect my old inkjet printer. I’m glad I got this item on sale.
I tried all troubleshooting methods described on their support forums (cleaned everything, updated the firmware, plugged the unit directly into a wall outlet) to no avail, except for the flatbed scanning white bars on the middle of the page now.
Junk.
Pros:
• $70 when I got it.
• Worked well at first.
Cons:
• No Wi-Fi capabilities.
• Prints a giant vertical black line down the center of a copy and scan regardless of the use of the document feeder or the flatbed glass.
• Flimsy plastic components.
• I owned $30 inkjet printers that lasted longer than this product.
• Poor excuse for an office printer. I barely used this printer before it broke. I’m still using the original ink for Flying Spaghetti Monster’s sake.

For the price, it's a pretty good multi-function printer. So far I've had no issues. I really like the speed and quality of the printer.

This HP MFP fit my needs perfectly. It is a reasobable cost, laser output, multi-fumction printer that is compatible with AirPrint. As the previous review states, it is not wireless (which is listed pretty clearly on the product page). I have my router located next to the unit, however, and connecting the two via ethernet cable allows all of my IOS and windows devices to print wirelessly.
I'm also pleased with the print quality, relatively small footprint, and ease of setup.
