We bought this printer for our church office. It's fast and has great image quality.

I had a brother all in one printer for about 8 years The drum went out, The two sided paper feeder often jammed, then last month it quit. So I researched a new all in one and decided on the HP M477fdw. The duplex printer and scanner work great! The scanner is single pass for both sides. The HP M477fdw that I bought did not come with any specialized scanner software, but my old brother came with Nuance scanning software and it worked with the HP M477fdw. I would recommend that if you are scanning from an image to an editable-searchable (OCR - Optical Character Recognition) document that you purchase scanning software such as Nuance. The software also straightens scanned documents and can convert those documents into PDF's and other formats.

The print quality is sharp. Scanning is fast, about one page per second. I am vry happy

Printer works great. Had trouble with install disc, but downloaded drivers from online and install was easy. Wireless is great feature. Scanner works well wireless as well.

The printer was easy to setup/produces great prints

When my old HP all in one 2830 printer became no longer supported with current operating systems, I was angry as there was nothing wrong with the old one and I had printed over 100,000 copies on it. So I went to see what replaced it. This is a great printer and does the same as my old one. I think the toner capacity was reduced so you have to buy more toner at about $100/cartridge. I assume that is how they keep their financial hook in you. But over all, things work well and I can print via wifi. Best Buy clerk was surpurb and knew the product well and was able to explain to me the differences in this model line clearly. Since this was a professional printer (not the typical desk top printer) I can print 28 pages per minute. As I print self produced "books" all over 100 pages each, this is wonderful. I chose the print duplex option and it is still very fast.

We have a few of these printers at different homes. All work great except the one that has to use Spectrum for wireless services. A constant battle to keep it connected to our homes network. HP is aware of this problem. Wish I knew...

Ordered the printer on-line. Set up was easier than expected. Print quality seems fine after completing the set-up. Still need to transport the printer and establish wifi connectivity.

Great printer/copier. It's the best one I have ever had and it operates smoothly and efficiently. Easy set-up and very fast, especially for the price. Thus far, I am very pleased and highly recommend it. It was my Best Buy at BESTBUY!

This is a big improvement on my Dell Color Laser printer.

This is a great all in one printer with many features and easy to connect to my network. Also works great with phones and copies and scans are good.

This is a great printer for a home office. It is easy to setup, works well with my MAC, and the price was right. The m477fdw has all the functions I need to run my home office. It exceeded my expectations.

It is important to do Color Laser Printing with duplex printing and wireless for iPhone. It does everything I can imagine. Only hope is to have ink cartridge economically sustainable.

This is the very best all-around home office or office printer. It does it all. And it's wireless, if you choose. The clarity of color and print quality is phenomenal. You can scan, email, fax, print, do it all. The size is perfect. If needed, it fits perfectly on a standard size file cabinet. It is quiet and fast. I recommend it to everyone. I purchased one for my home office and then, purchased a second one for my local office. If I had more reasons, I would buy more. The only option for the price and for what it does. Oh, did I mention you can print from your smart phone or other device while away from the office? Get it now!

Overall this is a great printer. I took away one star because I had a difficult time figuring out which trays were one or two. I found the information in the printer manual which is not included in printed form. Also so far I have not been able to print on clear sticker pages that doesn't scratch off. The print is very good otherwise. I could just be I haven't found the right settings yet.

(477fdw) may be a bit much for most homes, it's a little big. It is wireless, so it can be hidden away if needed. Color picture quality is very impressive for this price. Paper path is pretty simple, so clearing hand should be simple. Leaving it in standby is handy, it wakes up when a print job is sent to it over wifi (a problem i had with my last printer). Prints from smartphones and handheld devices well, though it doesn't like to duplex for me from android devices.

wish there more printers like this, prints great, easy to get after market toner, easy to scan with.

We have not tried the fax or the copy capability of this device, but the printing and the scanning have been heavily used with more than satisfactory results. We have gotten one error message that required one of the toner cartridges to be reseated. If that occurs with any frequency, it'll cause a significant downgrade in our evaluation of this multifunction device.
