I purchased a laser due to sporadic printing needs. The inkjets seemed to develop print quality issues if not used regularly. With the lasers they can sit indefinitely without issue and the print quality is much more crisp than the inkjets. However, I had to return this printer for the smaller size laser due to this one being too tall for our space. So check your dimensions. My wife even complimented me on my choice.

I have used it a few times, like the ability to print from my phone, emails, and wifi enabled devices. I bought it as I'm planning on returning to school and wanted a laser printer because of volume of pages from a cartridge vs ink.

Printer was purchased for home-office and school use. The printer is very fast, quiet and has all of the functions that I need. The only downside is the weight.

Needed a new printer for a secondary home office. I've owned an hp 8600 for several years used as a secondary printer to my Oki Laser printer. I'm not a big fan of HP products but couldn't afford another Oki. Store Salespersons tried to convince me that a office jet was the way to go and cheaper printing cost to a Laser. I tried the 8710 and another supposedly better HP OJ, and hated them both. This printer is by far the best. Easy to connect, reliable, nice print quality. Cartridges say 5,000 pages, however I'm only getting 70% of that count. Still happy w/ printer though

Bought our first color laser printer. The buying experience was perfect, ordered on line and picked it up 1 hr later at a best buy close to work. Printer easy to set up but did take time loading HP software. Works great!

Initially had problems getting it set up but found out it was my fault. After correcting the problem with MY computer the printer was ready to go in less than ten minutes. First copy prints very fast even when in sleep mode, and follow up copies are right behind it. I print 4 to 15 page documents regularly and this printer spits out all the pages in under a minute. One of the best multifunction printers I have ever used.

My wife got a new chrome book for school (she is a teacher) and could not connect to our printers. Told her I would get her a new one and wanted a color laser. Did my research and decided on this one. Set up was easy, and everything can print to it. Has its own email address so you can print from anywhere with that. Quality is very good, supplies are a bit pricey. Sometimes you have to pay a bit more to get what will work for you.

Like this printer overall. It starts up and prints very quickly from standby. It was extremely easy to set up. It works very well with my Mac, my iPad, and my iPhone. The iOS apps for it are great, too. The print quality is excellent. I do not recommend it for printing photographs, however. If you want to print photographs, I recommend using a Canon inkjet printer. I was a little disappointed in the scanning of this printer as well. I found that it did not reproduce colors very accurately.

I love this printer, I can print from my Mac pro book, iPhone and iPad. My previous printer ink always seemed to be dry when i needed to print, the laser printer has solved that problem.

Works very well. Handled a very large job that a Brother laser printer could not do. Bought this after reading reviews online and I am very satisfied with this printer thus far.

I set up my copier/scanner by myself. Instructions and software were not too hard. My only negative thing to say on this unit is I have not been able to figure out how to get the scanner to do it in PDF, instead it does all scans in TIFF, JPEG-picture formats. Would have given this scanner/copier a 5/5 if it allowed you to select different scan formats I waited several months and found this online at Best Buy for $299-a steal. It works fine, not hard to figure out how to work.

My daughter has this same printer at her job and she fell in love with it. We decided that we needed an upgrade on our printer. Really, really love it....very easy to use.

I avoided color laser printers because I read that they are not good for photos. Well, I was sick of paying for ink all the time and decided to try the color laser. I am impressed with the color quality and although I have not printed an actual photo, the color graphics from web sites, and maps, and downloaded pics for school projects have been fantastic. I will never own an ink jet again! The only minor downside is that it is a manual duplex printer. So, if you are going to be printing more than the occasional double sided docs then you might want to consider a full duplex printer.

This is a nice printer with good print time. It was easy to set up on my Mac. I like the bigger touch screen than the next lower model. The directions on the screen are clear and easy to follow. The high capacity cartidges are painful to buy but their print life brings the cost down to under 1.5 cents per page. The print color is quite good. Overall a very good buy. It is large - a smaller footprint would be nice.

Excellent printer with affordable price. Large size and pricy replacement toners are the only negatives.

Works great and cost of printing vs inkjets is outstanding, not to mention the print quality. If you're looking for an all in one printer, this is the one to buy!

I live in the desert area & was tired of the ink drying up so fast. Now with the laser ink cartridges I don't have to worry. So far this has been the best printer I've ever owned. Easy to set up and the color copies are incredible. With my previous printer that was less than a year old, I had to make so many adjustments to settings to get a really good color copy. I would highly recommend this model!

We purchased this to use it to print flyers and announcements for our PTO and it's worked wonderfully! Do wish the printer was cheaper, but it's not big deal.

My parents 70+ years old needed a new printer and it took me forever to tell the why they needed laser instead of inkjet. Once I convinced them, I bought this HP printer for them. Easy setup and easy to load toner. They love it. They'll use the scan function once I get back to set that up. The color is good and it'll print photo quality - quality for them. If I were in need for a printer I would have bought another one for myself.
