The HP Officejet 5740 all in one printer is very easy to setup. I was connected to my home network and performing wireless printing on all my home computers in about 20 minutes.

A small compact printer that does the job of a full size hp printer. I can copy, print, scan and fax by a touch on the screen or through my computer. A great price & product.

This is our first wireless printer. I love it! No problem with paper jams. Set up was easy. Love that it can be set back in a corner & doesn't take up space on our computer desk.

I love this printer. All wireless so other than the power cord, it stands alone. Prints front to back without assistance, and I can print from my iPhone anywhere in the house!

From start to finish, set-up was simple as was its use. Everything I had hoped for. the wireless printing feature is very simple to setup and use. Faxing was even easier.

I like the simplicity ot this item. Have had some difficulty setting phone to print, but haven't really spent to time to figure it out. Quality of print is excellent

This is the best printer I've had, HP has certainly made one great printer at a good price, I really like being able to print on two sides certainly saves on paper.

Been using HP printers for over 25 years and liked them all. But this is the best one yet. Everything works as advertised. Easy, flawless install, software worked immediately (and quickly), connected to wireless, beautiful quality print, 3 different ways to scan to and from the PC-laptop, this is wonderful. Joined Instant Ink subscription and that works well too. Very happy with this puppy.

I really like HP products, This printer does a great job of meeting my needs. It is easy to print, copy and scan items. Much easier to scan than some other printers I have used.

Decided to upgrade my previous HP printer to this one. I really like the tray paper-feeding option for making copies/scanning, you can use the flat bed as well but it is much faster and more efficient using the feeder tray. Print quality is great. I did sign up for the Insta-ink as well which is a pretty good deal. I usually print on average 20 pages per month and would usually buy about 3 or so cartridges per year (more when my wife and I were in school), but the program pays for itself as 5 bucks per month is equal to about 2 cartridges per year. Definitely recommend both the product and the instal-ink program. I do not print photos from the printer, so sorry I can't comment on that aspect. I also don't use the fax portion, but the scanning I use frequently it is very easy. Easily installed with my iMac desktop and my other Mac laptops (newer and older).

I enjoy my printer it is small and affordable for my uses at my home office ,the automatic ink is affordable and it is easy to use and learn to use no hassles trying to use it .

I'll confess I am a little leery of low-cost printers. I've not had good experiences. However, life requires that I buy printers that are...ahem..."more affordable". This printer has been a ray of light in a bleak world of shoddy quality and poor longevity. The HP OfficeJet 5740 is a wonderful printer! In this price range, I dont believe you can beat the blend, of quality, features, speed, and dependability in any other printer. HP has gained a loyal customer.

I love this printer because it is wireless and easy to use. It is modern technology at its finest . Great for a home office , school and college course work..

Printer works well. Integrated easily into home wi-fi network. Copies decently.

Easy to set up and maintain. Lightweight, great capabilities. Ink is less expensive compared to other printers

Really easy setup,I-pad I phone and Windows 7 found it easily, down load HP ap and every thing works! I do not like the paper tray, cannot see how much paper is left.

Printer works as expected. No problems with setup. Just pack a little patience and read the instructions. Kind of annoying to go through the registration process for each device on my network but that's the way the dumb software works. All in all, better than most network setups. I've found printers tend to die after two or three years so I've stopped spending a lot on them. This one does a fine job for the price.
