The black XL Cartridge prints more pages but the Color Cartridge does much better than the standard HP940 that came with the printer. I get about a year out of the color 940XLCartridge. Worth the change and join the Best Buy Ink/Toner club and the price gets better. Easy plug and play..

The ink lasts quite a while, It produces a lot of pages before you need to replace it.

When someone buys something that has components that need to be periodically replaced should use the original manufacturer components. I have found that HP brand cartridges work every time in their printers. I will not buy these from HP as I've learned not to talk to them about anything. Best Buy is the only place to buy this sort of stuff from.

Longer lasting cartridge. Recommend only purchasing XL for replacments. Non XL cartridge do not last, when the HP cleans the printer, the HP uses additional ink to clean the printer, and the Printheads. Better to go with the XL Cartridges.

Had to order this cartridge because the XL wasn't available in the store, but it was sent to my home free of shipping charges and came much faster than I was told. The Best Buy Member price was much better than the competition.

So I've used imitation ink before and they always run out of ink too soon. Maybe it's just my imagination. I've also refilled ink thru Costco (coupon) and ill tell you the experience was horrible. The HP printer had a hard time recognizing the ink. And one it did my prints were just horrible. Either the lines werent straight or the colors were wrong. And I kept getting ink low. Ugh. Realigning and cleaning didn't help. After purchasing the authentic toner and realigning, cleaning etc. everything is great. Again, buy the genuine ink. Even though it costs more, you won't have a headache trying to get it fixed.

Always running out of ink just when you need it the most well with the XL cartridge you get that extra ink when you need it.

Caught on sale. Needed for school and had to get it. School printer stayed down all the time. had to just get some ink for mine.

I love HP inks they never clog or leak like some of the off market brands! Trust HP your printer will thank you!

These ink cartridges are incredibly easy to use. Unfortunately, they are somewhat expensive.

Gives vibrant color and last a long time. Does what it says it will do.

This ink is my favorite. It gives excellent color to all color copies.

Refill was way over priced, its 2015 and no one has figured out how to get ink refills a lot cheaper? Your only option is to have it refilled at a drug store but you have a 50/50 chance of it working correctly.
