Customers love the OfficeJet Pro 8720's exceptional print quality and ease of use, frequently praising its straightforward setup and reliable performance. While some find it larger than expected and a bit noisy, the convenience of wireless printing and scanning capabilities are also frequently highlighted. This printer is fast for printing and is also good for faxing. You can use your phone to print through Bluetooth. It is a good size printer so you need some room.

Set up on this was easy, it connects to my Windows 10 PC readily. Prints very quickly and nicely. Also does a great job on photos. I am very pleased. This is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Guess only downside is that it is pretty big, but that's ok. Good for personal and business.

After a more challenging than needed setup this all in one does a solid job. Initially it scanned to computer but didn't copy directly, and missed the first two numerals or letters of the return address on envelopes. Both of these problems were solved promptly by calling very effective customer support (and may have been caused by pressure on the paper tray). We print probably twenty to forty pages a month, and after three months still have almost three quarters of the initial ink cartridges left, so we haven't started the monthly ink offer from HP. No jamming, No problem with nozzles.Print quality excellent. Love it.

Very fast printing, good quality. Big operations screen easy to see and use. Scanner quality excellent for desktop model. Takes up a bit of space - but results worth it.

I really like the usability of this printer. Great copies/photos and pretty intuitive - whatever that screen keyboard is called. The wireless install was very easy to set up. Love that it is white for my home office. It is definitely bigger than what I would prefer but if that is what it takes to get the features, so be it. Also, very important that the copies shoot up into a bin rather than out on the floor like some others. I never buy protection plans but ALWAYS buy them on HP printers and that has served me well. For $20 I have gotten several new printers as they generally break before the two years is up. Sadly HP is not at all what they used to be as far as durability (and it annoys the heck out of me how many broken ones are going into landfills), but they still have the nicest features and usability. Would recommend above others ... only caveat - invest in the protection plan. (BTW, because of the lack of durability I tried one Canon ... and then switched right back to HP.)

I purchased this printer to replace another HP printer. Set-up was extremely easy! The printer was up and running in a matter of minutes. The only thing that I would change is the size. I wish it were a little bit smaller. So far it has been used for a lot of printing. It's fast and a lot quieter than the old printer.

Very easy set-up. I like that I can get the XL cartridges so I don't have to purchase the refills as often. I have this unit set up to print from two different laptops and my iPhone - GREAT! I have had this printer for a bit over a year now with no issues. Great printer for the money.

We wanted an AIO printer that printed great text and photos . The reviews we found stated that this printer does both very well and it does. I was fortunate to pick this one up when it was on sale plus 20% off if I recycled my old printer so I bought this at a great price. It prints super fast , even full page photos printed very fast. I was worried about the ink consumption but I have not had to replace any cartridges after two months of moderate use. We joined the HP ink program and already received a full set of ink before we were even close to running out . Considering the price of the replacement cartridges this was a no brainer. The cost is so much less and for just a few dollars a month. I only gave it 4 stars because it is a big heavy printer not for placement on you desktop next to your computer.

I purchased this printer for my work office and college-aged child to use. The physical parts of the printer were easy to set up. Ditto with connecting the printer with my personal computer. My computer is old by technology standards and it connected via WIFI easily. To be objective, I did notice that the paper tray is not too deep. for someone who prints a lot, this may be an issue. I print on occasion, so this is not an issue for me. I have owned for two months and used at least once a week and have no issues.

This is a huge machine but the best I've ever owned. The instant ink program is awsome. No more buying ink and wondering if you are going to run out. Plus you can print everything on high quality. Very easy to use printer and with the app you can easily print from you phone or tablet.

Good Replacement for elderly HP all-in-one

I've used HP printers for years. In 2013 I purchased an HP Officejet Pro 276 all-in-one. It was a workhorse and I loved it, had almost no problems over the ensuing 5 years. Document feeder stopped working this year, and all efforts to revive it failed. Bought the 8720 a few weeks ago and am still getting used to it. So far, it works fine. A little louder than the 276, but faster. Like the way the cartridge area is accessed and the printing seems quite good, fast and clear. Colors are better than I expected, after having read some reviews that gave adequate but not great praise. Just a note: Soon after I got the unit up and running my old 276 coughed out a small, crumpled piece of paper and began to work just fine again. Passed it on to my daughter and it seems happy and functional in it's new home. Too soon to give the 8720 a 5, but I would say it's at least a solid 4.
