I've had HP printers before and will continue to buy them as needed since they've always been reliable. This one is an improvement over my last since it has a separate tray for envelopes and i don't have to reconfigure and it becomes a much smoother operation.

To say I'm disappointed in this printer could possibly be the understatement of the century !!! I had a professional technician set up my printer and he had trouble. Twice , there were firmware issues among other things. This printer also had trouble communicating with other devices on the wireless network in my home. Since then I had more firmware issues the printer constantly disconnects the scan function from my pc. Also the feed tray has a difficult time feeding one sheet of paper into the printer one at a time. I now take every sheet of paper that I want to fax and scan and copy it so each sheet of paper lies perfectly flat. The machine is too sensitive to any creases or wrinkles in the paper ( try taking a 5 page letter you received in the mail , that has been folded to fit in an envelope, laying it flat and forward it via fax , and all I can say is good luck with that !!!). I have had several HP printers and considered myself a loyal customer, until now. The tech that set this up for me told me to return this and buy a Brother printer , unfortunately I waited too long and went past my return date. I am seriously considering throwing this in the garbage, chalking it up to experience and purchasing a Brother printer, like the tech told me to do. I HAD TO GIVE THIS UNIT A ONE STAR RATINGTO POST THIS REVIEW , I definitely would have given it a negative rating if they had an option to leave negative stars.

Easy setup. Scans and prints quickly. Holds lots of paper. Always had HP printers. Still got a C410 that still works. Figured it was time for a newer faster one. Glad I bought this printer. Sale price helped my decision a lot also. Also being a Best Buy Total Plus member all my purchases are covered for two years. That membership was one of the best things I ever did !! If you don’t have it get it. Well worth the money !

really good features and it prints very well. my only issue is the wireless connection with my computer. sometimes i have to turn off the printer and turn it back on for it to connect.

It seems to work pretty well as we use it for homeschool to print all their school work, however we are already running out of ink and it’s only been a few weeks of using it and it costs $145 for new ones which IMO is expensive for only three weeks of use for homeschool.

So far, so good. Except for two things: 1) I can't figure out how to print an envelope when it was very easy to do on the older printer, and 2) I keep getting a message wrong size paper is in the 2nd tray (probably from when I was trying to print an envelope). Not a problem, just an extra 'push button' message.
And, if that is all I can't figure out, I guess everything is good. If it lasts as long as its predecessor, we are golden!

A good machine, but many features available on the hp 7740, which this replaced, are not available either from hp or elsewhere unless you have a smartphone.

Excellent quality all in one printer, pages on big jobs come out quickly and the scanner is lightning quick. Extremely satisfied with this HP Office printer.

Set up was easy. I have only had for a short time, but pretty easy to use. Feels like it takes a little while to respond to print command, but once it gets started printing, its quick. For the price, great household printer.

We had an older HP OfficeJet that died, tried a laser printer, and decided to go back to the OfficeJet. For some reason my wife has trouble printing to it remotely through her iPhone but I have had zero issues printing from my Android phone or from our home PC's. Once we get her issue resolved we should be good to go.
Despite that annoying issue, I'll give the printer 5 stars because of its speed and quality.
