This laptop have probably the most beautiful screen that I saw in the market. Vibrant colors and amazing definition. Battery life is great and the computer it’s fresh even when you play because have and amazing coolant system. 100% recommended.

Powerful, fairly thin, and great cooling. You're probably going to downscale most of your games to 1440p because the 2070 max q isn't a true 2070, but 4k movies looks amazing. I'd have preferred a 2070 max P, or at least a higher voltage card, because the chassis and cooling could handle it. Power brick gets pretty warm.

Love this laptop. While nobody needs 4k resolution on a 15 inch screen, the display is beautiful. Runs all my games smoothly at 4k, but dont expect it to do so very long on batteries. The fan is pretty noticible when under stress but that is to be expected.

I got this laptop on discount, and I've found it to be fantastic--the colors on the screen stick out great, boot/load times are speedy, and it can pretty much run every new title (for gaming) out there. Additionally, the software provided by HP to change the coloration of your keyboard, graphics settings, and view CPU and GPU temperatures, among other things, is very nice. In terms of cons, I would say that the laptop fans can get loud rather easily, and the laptop also doesn't seem to be great for viewing lower quality Youtube videos. I'm not sure if it's because the graphics card is pretty high end itself, but any videos not viewed in 4k resolution look somewhat... pixelated, I guess I would describe it as? Anyhow, I have a desktop with a lower-end graphics card, and 720p and 1080p Youtube videos look much better on it than on this laptop. If you can get past that though, I would highly recommend this laptop.

Great gaming setup. Only flaw i would say is battery life, and the wifi receiver is pretty weak. But it will play any game i install flawlessly with the graphics cranked all the way up. I love it so much i bought a another identical one for my wife to game with me.

I purchase the HP Omen when it was on sale for $1599. This price is hard to beat with the OLED screen, 1TB NVMe Drive, and RTX 2070 Super Max-Q. The display is absolutely brilliant and bright. Cooling is excellent with the fan noise barely audible under load. Excellent engineering.

I bought this for my son to use in college. It met his requirements for his game design classes. He says it is quite fast and the 4K display is sweet. It was a great deal from Best Buy. Cheaper than Alienware and it having more ports sealed the deal.

I bought this foremost to be able to play MS Flight Simulator 2020 at the Ultra detail level. I started playing it a week ago and wanted to get the best experience from the game. As others have noted the 4K screen is beautiful. I have a 40" 4K monitor on my desktop machine and this one looks much better. I have had no issue with Flight Sim using the Ultra detail setting, this machine and the RTX 2070 Super Max handle it with a breeze. I played some music and watched a few things on it, and the speakers are decent for a laptop. Videos look great. I set it to record some flights using the Xbox game record while playing MSFS and those played back with no issues. Today I swapped the memory out to bump it to 32gb, and added a 2tb m.2 drive in the second slot. The upgrades were a breeze. Opening up the case was easy. Swapped everything out and booted back up with no issues. Now I have 3tb m.2 drives and 32gb to work with. The Omen configuration software let me easily set the keyboard colors to what I wanted. Next up is to install Office 365 and probably Creative Suite. I have been very happy with this laptop. The fans are quiet and after an hour or so of flying around it is not loud or crazy hot. I have installed several programs, nice and fast. No issue pairing an XBox controller to use with the game. I have put it through the paces with a bunch of thing the past few days and have found this speed, screen, video card have provided an excellent experience. Even with 16gb I had no issue but now with 32gb all the better and an easy swap. The 4K screen looks great for everything, game play, web browsing, media consumption, etc. I bought an open box while they were on sale so even with swapping out the memory and adding the second m.2 drive I am below the regular price. Great value from HP and BestBuy! I would highly recommend this laptop!

I am absolutely loving this Laptop and I feel like the price is very decent for how good this laptop is (I paid about $1529 for it). For the longest time I've been wanting to buy a new one, but I waited and waited because my old one kept running still. I've been playing Rainbow Six: Siege and Kingdom Come Deliverance a lot and they both work so well and on high graphic settings. So if you are looking for a good gaming laptop, you should definitely consider this one. The keyboard lighting up was new for me and a cool feature and helps when you are gaming at night. It's a super smooth laptop. The only negative thing I could think of is maybe the fan blowing a little hard sometimes when I'm playing, but it's doing what it's supposed to be doing so it doesn't bother me at all.

I have had this laptop for about six months now. So far no complaints. It is fast, has a beautiful screen, and has plenty of storage. While I don't use this for gaming, I do use it for some graphic design and 3D design.

Screen is awesome. 1TB SSD is great but I also read a lot of reviews about the worst keyboard ever and YES THE WORST KEYBOARD EVER. Sometimes it doesn't even work. If you are going to use external keyboard this PC is for you if not DONT.

Performing just as expected, and most other reviews are accurate as well. Although I have no other high-powered for reference, I am satisfied compared to my previous computer. My only complaint would be the keyboard. The lighting does glitch out on occasion, and I do have one key that does not work 100% of the time. Unless the chance of a broken key is a deciding factor, it is not a huge issue. Another important factor might be what you plan to use the computer for. If you plan on solely playing FPS shooters, the 4K screen might be a limitation. However, this laptop does works well for survival games, virtual reality (still testing), and streaming videos

Great computer! The only bad thing that I found was a rattling noisy touchpad , then I went to see other HP OMEN at different best buy locations and it seems that all (HP OMEN) displayed laptops (except one) had the same noise so I think it might be a bad quality control on the touchpad assembly I would love to keep this computer but I work on a very quite environment and it´s anoying to hear the noise so I had to exchange it for another model, If you use headphones or listen to loud music while you use it probably this it´s not going to bother you Besides of that detail the screen is flawless and it runs fast and smooth

Awesome laptop, omen control panel is great. Great thermals so the gpu and cpu runs cool. Displays is great but limited to 60 Hz.

I decided on getting a gaming laptop instead of building a PC because I can only have one machine, and I move between different offices. I wanted something a little overbuilt, but still competing with other brands in terms of value. So far I'd say I'm impressed with the thermals (I haven't gotten over 60 degrees Celsius) and I actually really like the display. I plan on using a monitor at home for 144 Hz, but the 4k quality is truly stunning. I really love this laptop, and would highly recommend it (especially if you can get it on sale)!

Made a trip to Best Buy with my daughter for her birthday gift. She planned to purchase another brand gaming laptop that she researched online but when she saw the display model she was no longer interested. Then the salesperson showed her this and it blew her mind. Me too! The graphics were awesome. We did some research quickly on our cellphone because It cost a bit more than what we planned to spend at the time, but it was well worth it. No Regrets!

Great intro gaming computer for a kid. It's got a decent FPS and the graphics are crisp. However, the BestBuy description states 1080p for the integrated webcam-this is inaccurate it's 720 p. The cover is also weak-it's sort of floppy-ish? It's a delicate machine that does not look like it can handle being schlepped around in a backpack without possibly damaging the screen due to the lack of rigidity of the cover. So, despite it being a laptop, it's more like a desktop that takes up little space.

This laptop is awesome. It is very fast. Screen picture is great. Memory is plentiful.
