Bought this for my 11 year old. He has no complaints. Downloads and updates fast and the graphics are great.

was overall a really good laptop for work and gaming its was both in one.

I originally purchased the omen to process multiple high resolution photos from my 3d scanner and to edit them but soon after i got it i started gaming with it also. It does a good job at both and i am really pleased with its performance. I will.i will be upgrading soon to 32gb of ram do to the number of photos that it processes at one time to speed things up a bit.

So far so good. I got this computer to run Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

This computer has a issue where it overheats when you put in the charger. Its on idle with the charger and it goes crazy. Also sometimes the ports stop working or the wifi disconnects, which is extremely annoying. It works for I need it but I would never buy amd ryzen ever again or hp omen. Going back to asus intel.

Loved it, but it was overheating for a brand new laptop

Arrived five days earlier than expected, and it was shocking how great this computer runs. Cooling system is fabulous, and it only gets very hot when not on a flat surface.

I have been an HP supporter for years. First I bought a custom version of this laptop straight from HP and I had chose a red backlit keyboard during the customization process, the laptop came with white and i had to return it. I did notice that the trackpad would lag from time to time but I only kept that laptop for a day or so and didn't think much of it. I then bought this version of the Omen 16 from Best Buy and it also too had the trackpad issue. The trackpad will becomes laggy and unresponsive, the left click even stops working. The only thing that sort of fixes it is turning the trackpad off and on, but even that only works for a few seconds and it will begin to lag again. This time I attempted to update the drivers, the bios, and even tried factory resetting it but nothing has worked. I am talking to HP support now about the issue. But the overall experience of having 2 different laptops with the same trackpad issue has not been pleasant, which is why I'm giving this 1 star until the problem is resolved.

I would absolutely give this a 5 star rating, but after only 1 1/2 months I am having horrible issues with the mousepad barely working. I am not happy about that whatsoever & there is no troubleshooting available for it.

It’s perfect for what it’s meant for this gaming laptop can run many games perfectly like destiny 2 dying light highly recommend and also get a good mouse with it so it makes the experience better

Got it open box and it was in great condition. Runs great and plays everything that I throw at it.

Decent laptop for my son. Doesn't run overly hot, not a lot of bloatware, solid build, and the 144hz screen is very nice to look at when it is used.

Programs run swiftly and smoothly. Old computer didnt have bluetooth and its nice to have one that does.b

On sale at $999 it is a decent laptop for the price. However, the trackpad sucks. Its annoying loud, unresponsive, lags, and freezes. Not a good deal at MSRP but can be a steal on sale, if you dont care for the trackpad.
