Windows 11 is just a pain in the neck. I was forced to make an OneDrive account in order to finish up booting up the laptop. Even more unacceptable is the fact that the track pad doesn't work at all. I can't move the cursor, click or scroll.

This computer can handle very little. I keep having issues with the mouse tracking and I've only had this piece of junk for three/four months. The battery life is incredibly low. Insane price tag for the quality, keep looking.

Horrible computer! Best Buy and Geek Squad service are horrific. Less than 6 months my computer won’t turn on. You push the power button, button illuminates and turns off. Over and over again. I use this for school and two smaller games, nothing labor intensive. Scheduled an appointment with geek squad because I bought extra coverage. They said we can’t service the machine we would have to ship it off for 10-12 weeks. I’m in school, that’s not an option. This problem happens over and over and then randomly will work some days. Horrible machine, Best Buy service is useless, don’t buy the machine or extended coverage.

I had to return this device because the battery was absolute trash. While just browsing websites and chatting on discord, it went from a full 100% to 70% in just 20 min. After an hour it was at 40%

My son has had the laptop for 30 days now and the mouse pad is broken already. Need to take it back, I hope the warranty will cover it !

Great laptop still running strong in 2025!!!!!!!!!

It IS a gaming laptop, so it is going to heat up fairly quickly and it won't have the best battery life. Other than that, I really love this laptop. I use it for gaming and college work. It has gone beyond my expectations tenfold. I am not one to make big purchases, but when this computer was on sale ($999), I had to take advantage of the offer and purchase it for myself. It's fantastic, especially for the price. I cannot recommend this laptop enough.

I have had my Omen for 2+ yrs now and it has been nothing but good for all the pictures take. Although i do transfer them over to my external hard drive. I have made and even played videos on my laptop. I dont care of all the small number of bad reviews i look to see what all has been said. I do do a small judgement for myself if bad reviews are over half of good reviews and newer. If the bad reviews out weight the good well then im not about to waste my cash to hope it is actually a good product unless I know its a gooood product

Can the ssd be expanded or can be added a m.2 on this laptop?

so im watching youtube and out of the nowhere it crashes. and just watching youtube the gpu get to 100F and the cpu gets to 176F. battor only lasted 4 hours. the only thing that is good is you can upgread the ram and the SSD.
