Customers often highlight the excellent graphics, build quality, and performance of this gaming laptop, with many praising the smooth gameplay and powerful AMD components. However, a significant number of users reported issues with the trackpad's responsiveness and short battery life. The ample storage space was also a frequently mentioned positive aspect.

Good laptop even decent or good for gaming I’ve had it for a week and really like it games look great on the laptop this is my first expensive laptop though so maybe I’m a little in experienced has more than enough ram never had a problem processor is good graphics is good I haven’t really had problems running games on high for 60fps even new games I’m a student so I use it for school and love it for that as well it looks like a normal laptop and doesn’t stand out too much and deals with everything I need like a champ it doesn’t even get that hot even when gaming and is incredibly quiet I have had some issues like the track pad seems like it likes to stick and sometimes gets stuck clicking and I can see the colors are a little hushed but other than that I’ve enjoyed the laptop very much I got it on sale for $1,000 and I think I got the best laptop I could with that price point - 16gb ram, 1080p screen, 1 Tb storage, Ryzen 7, Radeon 6600m

I would only recommend buying this laptop while on sale for 1099, if youre buying at regular price id compare other models before choosing this one. Powerful AMD CPU and Radeon gpu makes this the great combination for gaming. So far has performed great with everything i have thrown at it including emulators. The fans stay quiet when performing simple tasks and regular browsing and doesn’t get hot when gaming.

Pretty good even after 2 and a half years. It has a couple of hiccups here and there but its a solid option for a gamer that wants to play on PC.

Best Gaming Laptop In It's Price!

I've had this laptop for a year now and it's still working wonders for me in the gaming department.
I've been able to livestream games like Cyberpunk 2077 or GTAV with extra windows such as Discord, Chrome or Spotify up. It's excellent for everyday use as someone who has multiple windows and programs open and has experienced little to zero lag. This easily has been the best experience I've had with a gaming laptop. Definitely worth it to get the 16GB memory and 1TB SSD if you're interested in long term gaming.
As for the computer's build, everything is still working smoothly. The LED keyboards are all customizable and still bright as ever considering they've mostly been on for a year. It has 3 USB ports, 1 USB-C port which isn't too bad, I can at least charge my phone with it. I use one USB port for my wireless mouse and then an adapter for anything extra. It also has 1 HDMI port which I use to attach to a separate screen and the ease of use is fantastic. More than half the time I use a second monitor for gaming and have had no issues.
The laptop itself isn't the lightest in comparison to some, and it is quite large, but that makes it perfect for mobile gaming.
The speakers aren't too bad, but I do think they could be louder. It's not ideal for sharing a screen with someone to watch things in bed, in my opinion.
As someone who travels often and moves this laptop around the house, it's fairly sturdy and I've seen no issues with bending or fraying of pieces.
5 Stars in my book!

Been using it for a weeks and I only have some complains about it:
-Using MSI Afterburner, the laptop seems to get really hot. While play Far Cry 5 the RX 6600M GPU temp hovers around 70-80 degrees Celsius but never beyond that. The Ryzen 7 5800H CPU however gets up to 90-100 degrees Celsius, the highest I've seen is 102, which is very concerning. I have clear airflows, clean fans, normal room temperature, and the fan speed going max at 5500 RPM, and it would still reach ~100 degrees. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm definitely planning to buy a cooling pad soon.
-The touchpad malfunctions sometimes, like it would be lagging and jittering, even being unresponsive and not work at all. I haven't had much testing with this though, as I only use the touchpad when I'm bringing my laptop outside and it's on battery power, might be the drivers might be hardware issues.
-The system also lags sometimes, there would be audio bugs and the laptop gets unresponsive, usually when I'm playing videos when I have a game running in the background. I'm not sure if that should be happening as I've never had that problem before, might just be the drivers or something to do with the game running at fullscreen and me alt-tabbing out to play videos, so the laptop has to run 2 things at the same time.
Other than that I've been liking this laptop so far, playing games like God of War, Far Cry 5, Battlefield 5, GTA 5 and other demanding games on mid-high settings, getting frames still smooth enough for the 144hz display to shine. And the 1TB SSD is also really nice :)

Great laptop.
I bought this gaming laptop to play some lightweight games, such as dota 2 and CSGO and use it for everyday use for other purposes. The laptop performs well on these games. Another thing I really like is the full size arrow keys which makes them easy to use, especially if you need to use the arrow keys a lot. The keyboard also feels good. Another good side of this laptop is the total weight of this laptop. This laptop is actually fairly light considering its 16'' size.

Great gaming laptop. Graphics are crisp and clear. The combination of the CPU and GPU are perfectly in sync. Just what I was looking for at a very good price. Other than gaming, use it for video editing and power point presentations. Well worth the purchase.

The Laptop is quite nice, but does have some draw backs. The pros first, the build feels quite nice and sturdy, the laptop is a bit thicker but not a brick which I personally I like, and good heating for a laptop. The cons, the track pad sucks, and the packaging was very lackluster.

I wanted a capable but reasonably priced computer to take with on business, travel and camping trips. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth this computer runs as well as the graphics are great. A little on the loud side when the fans are running.

I only had it for a week before the left side of the touchpad stopped working. Seems to be an issue with this laptop, seeing as someone else has commented on this issue as well. It's good for gaming, but the fans are under the laptop so it'll get hot if you have it on a blanket or in your bed. Also the speaker clarity is kinda bad compared to lithe premium HP laptops that i have used. Hopefully after my repair, there won't be anyone issues.

It's not the worst laptop in the world, but I wouldn't say it's the best, either. I don't play anything too hardcore. I like to play the Sims 4 primarily and it does decent at running all my CC and mods, though you can hear the fans working hard while the game opens.
The battery life is poor. It's only barely a year old and it's to the point that it has to be plugged in often to remain functional. Not to mention, after only a year, it has broken. The laptop is no longer charging. The light indicating it is plugged in is off. The battery depletes quickly. I sent it in for repairs and parts were replaced, but unfortunately it came back with the same problem. So, it's off to repair again.
It is disappointing. It broke the actual day after the warranty expired, which is the day I'd paid it off.
My lenovo is much older and has held up better. My lenovo has also taken more abuse than my HP being my primary laptop. I kept the HP safely put away and only pulled it out when using it. (I primarily use it as a personal laptop at work). I made sure to keep good battery health habits. Yet, my almost 6YO lenovo is still going strong with no problems and the 1YO HP is, as mentioned, broken.
I will say that HP has been kind. They are doing the repairs for free. If I were reviewing the customer service itself, the score would be higher.
