Battery life is not good makes too much noise while gaming

I bought this laptop on sale thinking inwas getting a great deal for the specs it came with. Unfortunately, the laptop keeps crashing, has crackling sound, and weird fan pulsing issues. I’ll be returning it today. Just go with the 12 Gen Intel models when they become more available.

it is a really good laptop but with widows and preloaded programs use about 80% of your ram

Overall I can say it was a very good computer but the best your getting graphics wise on this lap top is Fortnite not good for games that have great graphics and detail.

Short and sweet: This laptop exceeded my expectations and handles wonderfully when it comes to gaming compared to my 2070 Super & 9700K desktop. I haven't had a chance to test everything, but I am pleasantly surprised by this machine again and again as it pumps out 4K and 1440p @60hz to my external monitor in games like Destiny 2, Forza Horizon 5, & Nier Replicant which I've tested so far. Pros: - High wattage 3060 variant (115W+ with optimus disabled) - Great Port Selection - Cooling is up to par on my simple laptop stand (no extra cooling fans needed) - less bloatware than usual laptop products I have purchased - Simple, not flashy, gamer aesthetic Cons: - No Battery limiter in the Omen Gaming Hub to improve longevity of battery health There is certainly more than can be discussed (battery life, screen quality with the 144 hz IPS panel, mouse pad, keyboard, etc), but as I normally will be using this device docked into my external monitor, this has been the bulk of my experience with the laptop over the past 2 days. Only other comments are that yes, it's a gaming laptop. Battery life isn't going to be as great as my 2 core CPU, 14-in HP laptop. Yes, fan speeds are going to ramp up, especially when you game, and temps will vary based on context. Yes the laptop will be heavy along with the charger to carry around, but I feel that these are just some of the things most people should expect when buying a "gaming" laptop. Nothing out of the norm, but those "trade off's" come with great performance I'll say. *Disclaimer: I ended up not purchasing this from BestBuy but from the manufacturer directly. I imagine specs should line up the same based on the description and spec sheet.

The Thunderbolt Port Writes are extremely slow. I was getting around 32 MB/s on a Thunderbolt Attached DAS. I tried different Thunderbolt Cable but same issue. The same Thunderbolt DAS and cable worked fine on another Dell Inspiron Laptop.

It came with static sound, lagging games and windows, and the charger was so sensitive i had to hold it to keep it plugged in. I returned it for a new one and it did the same thing.

I got 2 defective units. They were slow and I received 10fps in League of Legends. Either I won the scrap lottery or something is wrong here.

Open box item. Whoever had it before me messed up the install and didn't work right

I bought this computer almost 3 years ago for gaming and heavy workload. This computer still running like it's brand new. I have no issues. Love how I can switch from one program to another with no issues on speed or response. If I had to buy another computer, I will buy another Omen!

Great Laptop been having it for 2 years and still good

Bought for school , but really great for gaming!!!

After two years of use I needed to replace two fans and the battery. I do not recommend this product at all. My PC also runs very hot above the recommended temperatures.

I can't say enough good things about this laptop, I bought this laptop for Java Web Development and for some gaming. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and I higy recommend.

overheats a bit and memory/cpu usage used up fast. But all around great laptop
