This machine looks and performs like a good gaming machine should...fast and sleek. Has a large screen (17 inch) so perfect for both gaming and work. Lighted keyboard is a plus. It's a bit heavier than I prefer, but otherwise very good performer.

I've had the omen for a bout a week and a half and I'm very impressed. I started loadin my games to it and the time remaining was always about an hour or so, so I would start it and go do something else for a bit and I'd come back about 15-20 minutes later and it's already asking if I'd like to run the game and play! The graphics in game are gorgeous and better than my desktop I had.

Had to do several exchanges of this laptop due to the first ones having audio or backlight issues, but I'm happy with the one I have now. It's super-fast, has a great display, and is more low-key in design than most gaming laptops.

I bought this for my son who was in need of a gaming laptop, however have the capability to do classwork. This machine does gaming well on ultra settings. He told me it well exceeded his expectations for a laptop. Looks nice too.

This laptop is a real performer. With a 256gb SSD and a 7200rpm hard drive, speed is amazing. If you are going to put Windows on the SSD, you need at least 256GB. Anything less will choke the drive due to lack of free space.

Speed is the key word on this machine. Start-up is lightning fast and the speakers are so much better than my last HP laptop. Haven't run it real hard at the games yet but checked it on bench mark sites. It's ready when I am.

This has been a great laptop. It has been able to handle anything thrown at it. My kids use it a lot to game on through their steam account. I don't know of a game yet that they haven't been able to play.

Bought this computer last nite took me about an hour to set it up run everything I have thrown st it on high settings.We will keep testing it But if you want a nice gaming rig this is it.The only con is the screen

I'm not wowed by this device, but nothing has stood out as being unacceptable. Works as advertised. Runs a little hot, I'd suggest getting a cooling mat with it.

I've really enjoyed this computer since I got it about two months ago. It's super-capable to stream all the video from Hulu, Netflix, etc and runs everything fast. The only complaint I have, that's not even unique to this model, is that they make laptops now with no accessibility to the RAM or hard drives for future upgrades. As such I expect full obsolescence in just a few years, which is kind of a bummer. Don't underestimate the physical size of this computer. It doesn't fit into most messenger or carry-on type shoulder bags. I'm not dissatisfied with that though since I mostly use this on at home and travel with a surface pro. Overall, I'm happy with it and would buy again.

I purchased this computer for the purpose of photography and video editing. This computer renders video in a quarter of the time my Lenovo i5 12GB computer does. Very happy with this purchase.

Really like this computer. It runs fast and handles multiple programs running at one time easily. The only negative I would say is the keyboard is really hard to see with the dark red.

I work from home and need my computer to be fast and reliable. This omen is great so far! I haven't had a chance to try any games on it but it seems like it could handle anything.

I'm no expert but it is exactly what my point of sale system required and has increased production with its amazing speed! I couldn't have asked for a better unit.

I got with purpose of replacing desktop but not losing big screen and quality. It's heavier from size. The red backlight looks really awesome and easy on the eyes at night. Great specs, great looks, great price point.

I really thought buying a gaming computer would make a big difference in speed, I don't really think it does. Windows 10 is not easy to learn. I guess the video is okay for watching videos, nice clear screen.

This is a very good laptop for gaming. It has handled every game so far, from World of Warcraft to Witcher 3. All with no lag and settings at Max.

Excellent machine for gaming. I run Civilizstion 5, Diable III, Doom, etc. It handles it all. If you end up needing more memory, memory is cheap.

I bought this laptop to play CSGO...well worth the buy, graphics keeps me at a steady 120 fps in game... would like more but hey its a laptop
