I bought this as a gift for my wife who loves to play Warcraft, she has been very happy with it. She has had zero issues , i will probably get one for myself also.

Great laptop. Webcam has an amazing view of around the room instead of focusing directly in front of it. The only issue I'm having with it is that the video drivers need constant updates and it shuts the screen off completely but as soon as you put the computer on stand by and give it power again it runs completely normal, but that issue just stems from the video drivers nothing hp can do about that. Otherwise a great laptop.

When I got to the store, the guy helped me to figure the specs out and was really open to review everything. Great attention and great low price computer

love my new omen laptop .. keys are nice and easy to press no loud clicking ... screen is large and bright ... vidoes, games and movies are awesome ...

What a beauty to work with!!! Super fast! I use it for college and Flight Simulator and it takes on both like a champ, even on ultra high settings!

It runs a lot of games on high settings, I really don't like hp, but this is a good one.

This laptop has it all...fast fast. The sound is awesome and I love the screen.

After months of researched I decided to pick up the Omen. Once I got it setup and loading with games I took it mobile to a friend's house. While there it worked really well and I was getting great FPS is world of Warcraft around 65 on very high. The first issue was sticky keys. Specifically WASD which for gaming is a huge problem. My character would get stuck running sideways or a specific way with my hands off the keyboard and keys not physically stuck down. Second issue to come up while at home testing it out some more I started to have FPS horribly drop to 7 to 11 while plugged in for no apparent reason. I would unplug and plug the power cable back in and instantly game would jump back to 65. These two factors led to a return due to my main purpose being gaming for the laptop and those issues are large roadblocks.

I'm a gamer, and typically prefer desktops over laptops. I was able to "get by" using this while playing World of Warcraft, but it definitely had an impact on my performance. The issues below are what I experienced while playing WoW... Issue 1: screen artifacts while gaming. This actually turned out to be an issue with the latest Windows 10 update. The Xbox application had DVR enabled by default, which is resource intensive, especially on the graphics card. I had to create a Microsoft account in order to log into the Xbox app and disable it. Issue 2: Long loading screens. At least double if not triple the time it took my desktop, which is actually pretty comparable in specs. Issue 3: Low simultaneous key press. I don't know the actual number of keys that can be down at once, but I regularly found key presses not triggering. Often times my character would start running or strafing on its own until I could figure out which key missed its "key up" event. This laptop is probably fine for non-gamers, but for my needs it just didn't cut it.

Bought for my son, he uses this at college & it allows him to do all his homework while still letting him do gaming afterwards.

I use my computer for university courses and a bit of gaming. I bought it last November and I haven't had any issues.

While this is a "gaming" laptop, I bought it to use for photography editing. It had everything I needed and more. The larger size does make it heavy but I generally am not traveling with it so that is not an issue. Friends are jealous for sure.

I purchased this laptop so that I could transfer data off my OTHER HP laptop which needs to go in for repairs (Wi-Fi adapter issues). Chose this particular laptop because of its power and speed - I am NOT a gamer, but a photographer. Day 2 - first "blue screen of death" but it rebooted itself. This issue repeated itself occasionally, increasing in frequency and randomness until I had enough (3 times in an hour on day 15). Didn't matter if it was running 1 program, 4 programs or "waking up" from sleep mode. Best Buy advised me to replace it - not thrilled about having to transfer all of my data AGAIN. This is not a cheap laptop by any means - I expected it to work. Will hope that the new one doesn't have any issues.
