I'm going to piggyback off of the first review: there was extremely little out there concerning this computer when I purchased it. HOWEVER, I took the plunge based solely on a) the price and b) the specs. I'll stay brief since he covered a lot of good info. I've had the computer for about two weeks now and I'm loving it. THE VERY FIRST THING I DID WAS SWAP THE HYBRID DRIVE FOR A 500GB 850 EVO. This was a relatively simple procedure that has made a world of difference on an already-great computer. I exchanged my recently-purchased Lenovo ThinkPad (nothing wrong with it, great computer) for this one. The major shock was the screen-size difference from a 14" to 17.3", however, I'm already used to it. The GTX965M in the 17.3" is very worth the price difference when compared to the 960M in the 15.6": notebookcheck shows an average of 20-25% difference when playing games like DOOM, Overwatch, and The Witcher III. This is huge and I've definitely noticed a difference! I'm getting a consistent: - 50-60fps on ultra settings for MGSV - 45fps on Epic for Overwatch, about 75 for Ultra - Easy 60fps on DSII at max settings - 60fps on DSI with DSFix and a ton of texture mods - 85fps on The Talos Principle with a mix of High and Ultra settings I'm also able to run a variety of modeling programs, such as Creo, SketchUp, CATIA, and ANSYS Fluent with no hiccups. For a college student saving for an actual gaming PC, but with bills to pay, this is a fantastic deal. Since I've listed a lot of pros already, my only cons are: - The stock hybrid drive - it's not 7200rpm, which is strange - Color reproduction is nice, but could be better That's it! Great battery performace, 4hrs 30min in normal use, 2hrs aprox in game. has a great screen to view movies or gaming, the speaker are also very good. I consider is bad design the ventilador is on the right side beacuse there is where the is mouse so I feel all the heat in my hand, also the laptop overheats after a period of time. plus some keys get stuck, there is a problem with the jack after I unplug my headphones, it looses the sound

Bought this for my boyfriend, like how it looks but the fact that it doesnt come With Wordor any note pad type program was a disappointment for me. Over all it's an ok computer

This Is a huge waste of money. It won’t run COD 1 without lag. The sound crackles and you have to restart it constantly. Worst laptop in the history of laptops.

I came to your Mobile store to purchase a replacement laptop because my current ons had died right before I had a huge grad school project due and I needed to be able to redo my work and the associate sold me this laptop that used to be a display without checking it out before selling it to me. I got it home to find out that it was still in display mode which made it impossible for me to get onto the computer to use it so just a word to the wise be sure have the associate check the laptop before leaving with it, don't just assume it was done since it should be a part of the process.

Wanted this to play only league of legends and had some black and white flashes on some abilities. Also the keys sometimes did not go through causing game play somewhat difficult

Purchased the Omen laptop because none of the lenovos were available. I took it home, unpacked, and began my set up. Within 60 minutes, I heard something pop inside of the laptop and it shut off. Took it the store and they told the hardware fell apart. Terrible experience. On that same note, the coloring was weird on the screen compared to my previous lenovo.

You can not use the mouse and keyboard at the same time. It is actually sad. There are millions of times in video games if not constantly to use the mouse to look around while using the keyboard to move. There are no solutions to this problem from HP.
