This laptop was selected by my daughter for her grad school. She liked the blue color, screen resolution and weight. The battery life is great and the build quality is good too. Hopefully this will last her through the 4 years and more.

Laptop works very smooth and easy to setup. Instructions are clear and connects to dual monitor easily. Light weight and good for someone working on data. Very impressed!

’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip 2‑in‑1 with the Intel Core Ultra 7, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for a little while now, and it genuinely feels like a great “do‑everything” laptop. The 14" 2K touch screen looks sharp and vibrant, and the Atmospheric Blue finish gives it a premium, modern vibe that I actually look forward to pulling out of my bag.
Day to day, performance has been fast and snappy. I can jump between dozens of browser tabs, Office apps, streaming, and light photo/video work without the laptop slowing down or stuttering. Copilot+ and the built‑in AI features are surprisingly useful for quick drafts, summaries, and organizing tasks, so it feels like the laptop is actively helping me get work done instead of just being a tool.
The 2‑in‑1 design has turned out to be more useful than I expected. I flip it into tablet or tent mode for watching videos or taking notes with the stylus, and the touch response is smooth and accurate. The hinge feels sturdy, and the overall build quality inspires confidence, not like it’s going to loosen up after a few months.
Battery life has been good enough that I’m comfortable leaving the charger at home for a typical work or school day, and when I do need to top up, fast charging is a lifesaver. The keyboard is comfortable to type on for long sessions, the trackpad is responsive, and having a solid mix of ports means I don’t have to live off dongles.

I was looking for a decent laptop for my college going son... this came up on deal and had been at a sweet spot from price & performance point...had this been 32GB RAM it would have been deal for me & no look forward. I have had issues with HP laptops from work & personal purchases in the past but OmniBook Flip X is kind of great line of laptops which is changing my mind towards HP products... lets see how it goes from here but as I write this has been a great going and son loves it... its little heavier as compared to his prior Samsung Galaxy Pro 360. Great blue color, screen, battery is holding up well.

I recently purchased the HP OmniBook Flip from Best Buy, and overall I’m impressed with what it offers.
What I Like
- Display: The OLED touchscreen is stunning — colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the 120Hz refresh makes everything feel smooth.
- Design: Sleek and lightweight, with the flexibility to use it as a laptop, tablet, or in tent mode. Perfect for presentations or streaming.
- Keyboard & Trackpad: Comfortable typing experience with a responsive haptic trackpad.
- AI Features: Built-in Copilot+ integration and Intel Core Ultra processors make everyday tasks feel smarter and more efficient.
Areas for Improvement
- Battery Life: Decent, but not as long-lasting as I’d hoped. Heavy use drains it faster than expected.
- Performance: Great for everyday work, streaming, and light creative tasks, but not ideal for heavy gaming or demanding workloads.
- Ports: Limited selection, and some are awkwardly placed.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a stylish, versatile 2‑in‑1 with a gorgeous display, the HP OmniBook Flip is a solid choice. It’s best suited for students, professionals, or casual users who value portability and design. Power users may want to look at alternatives, but for my needs, it’s been a great purchase.

This computer is everything i wanted. Perfect travel size, still large enough to enjoy streaming movies. Runs fast and efficiently. Well-appointed keyboard for touch-typing. Was goi g to use as my 2nd computer but will be using it as my main one. Even sweeter is I got it at a Memorial Day sale price. Still early days but very, very happy.

Great so far. The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 excels with its vibrant 3K OLED display, responsive keyboard, and robust battery life. Its lightweight, convertible design is ideal for professionals and creatives alike. While pre-installed bloatware is a drawback, overall performance and portability make it a top-tier choice for daily productivity and light gaming.

I like it. Coming from a Yoga 2-in-1 (which I also liked, but the drive failed). I enjoy the larger keys on this keyboard. Battery life is decent, screen etc. are good. Build quality seems on par with the laptop that failed. For me, there is no discernable difference between this and the previous laptop which was ryzen 7, except battery life reportedly may be slightly better. Best Buy was great to work with, which along with Geek Squad protection, made for a comfortable experience in getting from the previous laptop to this one. That being said, I also got a couple of Yoga 7i for two kids starting college since I was able to get a better price at the time. One other note: Geek Squad offered to install windows 11 home with local accounts, so that Windows Drive Encryption would not be initiated (I don't need it, not worth the tradeoff imo. My husband was grateful for that, having built and set up windows on two other computers and a mac earlier this year! He didn't have to tweak the Omnibook much after Geek Squad did the set up.

There are lot of really nice things about this laptop, but a few significant annoyances that keep it from realizing it's potential. I want to like it more, but keep running into frustrations.
Pros:
- Good value
- Reasonably bright screen (for indoor use)
- Quality feel overall
- Good keyboard
- Good trackpad
- Nice hinge mechanism
- Nice thickness and weight
- Mechanical camera shutter
- Thunderbolt
- Surprisingly good sound for its size and use of down-firing speakers (when placed on a hard surface)
- USB-C charging
- Nice color
- Good collection of ports for a slim computer - 2xUSB A, 2xUSBC, HDMI, and headphones
Cons:
- Crashes frequently: This is the most significant problem. It seems to be related to bluetooth drivers since crashes frequently occur just as I pop my earbuds in and get ready to start a video call.
- Mediocre webcam and fiddly performance with Windows Hello
- Undocumented behavior with HP stylus: The stylus conveniently sticks to the side of the computer, but forces the computer to go to sleep. The stylus must be removed to use the computer.
- Pointless Copilot key and integration
- Lots of undocumented HP stuff running in the background
- Poor color gamut: Biased towards blue
- No disk encryption features in BIOS
- Battery charging limits hidden in BIOS - not accessible from within Windows
- Tablet integration in Windows is a mess (not unique to this computer)
- No way to lock landscape orientation
- Gives slow-charging warnings when powered through a dock that should provide MORE power than HP's included power adapter

This HP OmniBook X Flip feels like a sleek, modern laptop that is easy to carry, with a sharp and colorful 14-inch touchscreen you can flip all the way around to use like a tablet, and it runs very fast thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 7, 16GB of RAM, and a big 1TB SSD, so apps open quickly and you have plenty of space for files. It handles everyday work, web browsing, streaming, and light creative tasks without slowing down, and the Copilot+ AI features add some handy extra tools without getting in the way. The keyboard and touchpad are comfortable to use, battery life is good enough for a full day for most people, and while the glossy screen can reflect light and it is not really meant for heavy gaming, overall it comes across as a great all‑round 2‑in‑1 for someone who wants one device that can do almost everything

Absolutely love this computer! I got it to change my old hp pavilion 360, that started to run slow and had very little space. This one HP Omnibook I got with 1TB and it runs so smooth and super fast for my multitasking! I really like the bigger size keyboard keys, the touchpad also very smooth and nice to touch! The display is very nice like almost all new hp models I think, I had several hp laptops in a row for the last 15 years and not planning to change it for any other brand, there is no point in it at all, since the hp is very good. I'm amazed with the battery life, it lasts me almost two working days with no charge!!! This laptop is also very compact size and lightweight that I really like!
Very happy and grateful with this purchase!
