I bought this laptop based on reviews and the fact that my previous laptop was an HP and performed well. Best Buy gave free Kaspersky anti virus software with the purchase. At first it performed well, didn't seem to have any issues. I down loaded the Kaspersky and the troubles began. When I attempted to load Google Chrome at first try it just wouldn't load. I did get it loaded eventually and it worked ok for a while. Then I began to have trouble opening Chrome with it taking as much as 15 minutes. I then had the same issue with Outlook. I decided maybe it was the Kaspersky. Contacted their tech support. They said to disable Kaspersky and see if the problems continue, The problems continued with it disabled. Another issue is that the laptop has repeatedly lost my WIFI key. So that to get on the internet I have to reenter the key. By trying different things I have found that unplugging the laptop with no battery when not in use seems to help with all of the issues I also uninstalled the Chrome, maybe that helped too.. Lately I have just powered down and it seems to be OK. So for the past 2 weeks the laptop has been ok, but I still think it is running slower than my 5 year old laptop that has many more programs loaded on it. You should NOT have all of these problems with a brand new laptop. I plan to uninstall the Kaspersky when the free 6 months runs out and load Norton. Maybe that will help. My advice if you buy this....don't install the free Kaspersky. Just run the McAfee that comes installed. I am no Geek Squad guy, but I have been using computers since they first came out and can usually figure out problems as they arise. But I would never buy this laptop if I knew of all of these issues

Great basic laptop... lightweight. Functional. Great for school

For less than $500, this laptop has good features. Would be nice if it had back lit keyboard.

Wish it had more oomph but otherwise a good little laptop for the price. I didn't expect the built in DVD player. That was a bonus!

Takes a long time for web pages to come up. I also have a hard time finding things, not used to Windows 10. Not sure I like it.

The laptop has great memory and speed. Windows 10 has taken a little getting used to but I really like it. The bated holds a charge for a long time. The operating system is perfect for tempting in to my desktop at work and working on projects from home.

My daughter picked it up for me. I haven't had time to use it for more than the single reason I bought it. I loaded an accounting program and that is all I use.

I would have liked bmuetooth and other misc. Options but this fullfills my needs. Runs great have had no issues!

Bought this laptop for my husband to game online. It loads quickly and has no lag time at all. He would like a larger screen but over all, he loves it. The numeric keypad is a huge plus.

I bought this computer for my 15 year old son. It was a great price and has the functions he needs to use for schoolwork. Great for internet use!

this laptop works right out of the box and exactly as described. The keyboard and number pad have a light touch and great layout. Windows 10 is a great improvement over windows 8. And the memory and capacity make it a terrific basic laptop. It even still includes a DVD drive

I have not had any problems so far. I use it mostly for the web, Quicken, Netflix and Word.

This is a good laptop to use for recreational surfing. I am still trying to determine the new windows program which this is helpful.

This laptop does its job well. The mouse is very annoying so buy an extra.
