This computer is really slow right out of the box. Just opening Chrome takes much longer than my 5 year old laptop that this is to replace. I would have thought with and A10 processor that this would be faster. Once an application is open everything seems to run fine but it takes forever for the computer to be ready to do anything after starting up.

I bought this for my son who love to play games online with his friends. It has done everything that he needs it to and I haven't heard one complaint.

I wish I had not let the salesman talk me into windows 10 hate it

This computer worked great, though it was a little heavy going through the airports. The only problem I had was the hinge between the monitor and keyboard slowing came apart and broke. It is in the shop now, but not sure if it can be reasonably repaired.

had issues from the start. it would say chrome was up and running when it wasn't. it was slow with programs and applications. also when it arrived the the USB port was damaged, which we were not aware of till we tried to pull the USB out.

This lightweight easy to use and navigate PC is perfect for an older person

Pluses: - Quad core AMD A10 processor running at 1.8 Ghz. Processor includes a Radeon R6 graphics core with 2 MB of dedicated memory. The system has very good performance for the price. - This laptop replaces a 5 year old Toshiba that died on me. That machine was a toaster whereas this laptop is far more powerful and stays very cool even under load. No problem resting this HP on my lap for hours. - Win 10 is much more like Win 7 than 8 so it took me no time at all to figure out how to use the system (I had Win 7 on my old laptop) Minuses: - The touchpad is on the cheap side. I prefer a pad with separate left and right click keys below the pad. Not a deal breaker for me as I typically use a wireless mouse with it anyway. - The power and drive activity lights are on the sides of this laptop. I prefer these lights along the front edge so they can be seen easily. I also like a status light for the wireless adapter but this system doesn't have one. I don't think you can get a more powerful laptop for this price and I highly recommend getting one.

Numerous lock-up and errors! Purchased it just to get on the web etc; AMD 10 processor got a decent review......wrong! Go intel or stay home. Took it back before 30 days and purchased a MacBook Pro. Stopped being cheap and purchased a real laptop

It works so far. It had to be modified to make it able to support a reasonable graphics card.
