This computer is primarily for home use and more than satisfies our needs and expectations. I wanted a fast processor with adequate RAM at a good price - this unit satisfied these criteria. I agree with other commenters, that the keyboard is a bit strange with the numeric keyboard added, but it only took me a few days to become accustomed to this configuration. Great value for a home computer.

I needed a new PC and had purchased my previous PC at Best Buy. Being one of the faithful, I returned and bought new one. I also bought Geek Squad. Not being a techie, you might want to consider having someone from the well marked Geek Squad desk come over and answer questions or even offer to install it. I bought all this over a month ago and am still waiting for my Baseball playing, 16 year old nephew to come and walk me through set up. Otherwise I am a happy retired Registered Nurse.

A good laptop overall - an Intel i7 at a relatively low price point (the lowest price I've seen for an i7). It runs fast, cool and quiet (you barely hear it running). The Beats speakers sound pretty good too. Here are the negatives: an awful track pad (we compensate for this by using a wireless mouse) and a horrible wifi card (gets 3 bars in the same spot that the old laptop got 5 from the same router - buffers even when streaming.Pandora radio - we compensate using a range extender).

Had the Hp Laptop for a month now and just love it, Learned the ins and out fairly quickly, great speed and to use my Lightroom/Photoshop for my photography. Great investment...Glad I bought it..

Doesnt have full HD screen,but has 10 key and dvd drive, and i7 as the wife needed for college. Good enough for price.

This laptop is really fast and I Love the keyboard. I am very happy after struggling with a five year old model. It saves me a lot of time by not having to wait for an article to come up. thanks

Windows 8 definitely has a learning curve. Some of the features are confusing. The laptop itself is working great!

I like this machine, it's light & the processor is jet fast.. Except for the mousepad this is a great laptop..

This was a replacement for my wife's laptop. The laptop is very lite and has a great display. The software runs smoothly, with only a few preloaded program idiosyncrasies. A great deal!

I bought this laptop from Best Buy while this machine was on sale, but I still got the price match after 1 week of my purchase when the price was further decreased.

This Laptop is fast and I needed the Numbers Keypad on the side for work. I would recommend this Laptop and I got it for a great price.

This pc is the best I've had. Great speed, beautiful Sharp colors. Was able to upgrade to Windows 10.

my new laptop is great! Windows 8 is new for me and takes a little time to get used to. But I got it now and am enjoying it alot

I have always had a PC, but I decided, after the PC crashed, that it was time to downsize. This is a great laptop and capable of so much! There isn't anything I did on the PC that I can't do with the laptop. I really enjoy not having all the extra stuff taking up space and the portability.

The computer is lite and easier to use than the previous laptop I had, I love this new computer.

I bought these for faster photo editing. The screen resolution is great and runs really fast!

I was just looking for an affordable laptop that packs a punch and I definitely found it! i7 for this price? Hell yeah.

I recently brought this laptop and it has worked fine. The only problem I have experienced is with the menu that shows up on the right of the screen, I don't know if it's a problem with the pad but sometimes when I try to move the cursor the menu shows up and selects some of the options so I don't know if the problem is sensitivity of the pad or the configuration of the menu. Other than that it has worked really good.

Takes a little time to adjust from Windows 7, still discovering new ways to utilize many of the features of the new operating system. Great value for the price.

Performed as expected - decent computer with appropriate compute power for a good price.
